Lee could be a very good singer, but not only does he just get a line or 2 in every 15 songs, but every song is often in the key best for Claire. Lisa struggles a lot too in this key sometimes. I would love for Lee to take lead on a song meant for the Backstreet Boys or Nsync, just to see if the different pitch and tone would work for him.

It`s great to see them and try to reunite. The pressure for a lot of Artists under most labels and managers is real! Just look at the struggles, breakdowns and dark paths some of them go through. Music is an art and I don`t think it should be pressured in the first place. I wish they were all to take their time without all these managers and labels pressuring them and squeezing them all out just to make money. It`s very very sad...I think this is why a lot of groups split and I don`t blame any of them...

Something quite interesting happened when the stylist began to critique their past fashion choices... The band had an immediate sense of pride in their past & they didn't like it being attacked in any way. I would definitely call this a positive reaction. Why wouldn't they be proud? Steps will not be disband if in the first place they are happy on who on which line or stanza will sang it. If they are truly grateful with their friendship there will be room for forgiveness ans happiness from one another. 5 years of being together is a long time to waste what they had. And it's been more than a decade not to forgive no matter how painful what happen when the band broke up. What you guys needed is to be open with ur feelings no matter how ugly it is you have to tell them to avoid any future conflicts. And lastly, be happy that you have one another. And the fact that someone in this world wanted that money, fame, friendship and talent that you experienced and just throw it away because of your bitterness and ego. Still STEPS, I still love you and you are part of millions and millions of the people lives. And your songs will still be part of our happiness and sadness experiences that we had in our life. I'm really sad for Lee... His only big break was their first single 5,6,7,8 were he did the rap part of the song... I think that is his first and last break until their group fade away... He was never given a chance to lead the song and he just remain a background until their group ends... Compare to H that he has a solo perform from the group. Thinking Lee's voice is also great and powerful... Most of their song was dominated by the ladies and Claire is always leading the chances...

He did sing lead on a couple of songs back in the day here and now it was lee and Claire singing the verse before the chorus on the 2nd part (Both songs from the buzz album) turn around lee got a lead vocal On there song buzz it was mostly faye and lee Say you'll be mine he got a lead vocal And on there recent albums he's had lead vocals on quite a few songs back in the day he did get a bit of a chance to sing just not as much as the girls and H sadly

You know what I find so eerie. Steps break up in December 2001 and then in December 2002 Two New Pop Groups are formed. One become Superstars, the others don't. That of course is Girls Aloud & One True Voice and they all have Pete Waterman to thank to a degree for getting their foot in the door.

To be honest, back then I was a teenager and it never stood out to me that some of them weren't singing as much as the others until I heard about the issues and started to pay attention to it when I was watching their video's on youtube. But back then, I was just enjoying their songs and dancing... Too bad how it ended, but I still love all 5 of them as a group :-) So glad they managed to do the reunion

I think it’s important to note that without Claire’s vocals they would have lacked credibility. They all had something but she’s just a really talented singer. It must be hard to be another member in that situation because you’re always in the shadow of someone else. Lisa seemed the most troubled by this. I also think this is probably the reason she’s so resentful to Claire leaving because on some level she’d know she needed her for her own success.

What was funny was twice lisa's tried to launch a solo career, and twice it flunked. Its a shame that everyone doesnt get as big roll as eachother, but thats life, in every group you have lead singers its how groups work. I wouldn't have given them a Cover Version. Let them sing something Fresh to show that they still had the "goods" musically. In the US Boy Bands/Girl Groups almost never do covers, there's too much drama with Copyrights and the like. In fact The US TV Series The Wonder Years was distributed through Time-Life because they had acquired the Rights to use on Infomercials/Adverts.
