Ultra High Grade Silver Ore + Gold, Platinum & Palladium From A Small Quarry

Some ultra high grade silver ore found in a small hidden mine quarry. Also samples contain gold, platinum, palladium zinc and copper in smaller values.
Several mineralized rock outcrops with decent grade gold, silver, platinum and palladium new showings are in the area. The veins are stringers with pyrite and chalcopyrite as the main sulphides hosting multiple minerals. Mineralization can also be found as disseminations in the schistose host rock. We are sampling and exploring various new outcrops over the next few months in the hopes of finding new areas to complete more in depth mineral exploration programs, this area is one of them.
The area has mass amounts of mineralization and is in a silitified and pyritized fracture zone 11km long and several kilometers wide. Located in BC, Canada, this zone carries multiple gold, gemstone, mineral and VMS deposits. There are hundreds of heavily mineralized outcrops and multiple large and smaller deposits. Some mined over a hundred years ago, some are new discoveries.
In the vicinity there are multiple old gold mines, gold quartz veins and sulphide deposits

love that iron stained rock..I keep finding it at every old dig site from the 1800's...the old timers loved digging that up...Elmo and I have found over 8 old cabins and there digs, Every single one had the iron staining. I always take the time to check all the different type of rock in there tailing piles to see what they were after in each area...Very important to find the veins they missed..Dig,Dig,Dig

You can use handheld x ray tools to tell what elements in the rocks the Titan ones retail at 13500 dollars and the rest of the mining operations. The final percent of each element of 4.9 grams for Pt is worth mining and a high content Ag .It was a silver mine 100 years ago so either the price of silver dropped or the mining operations were to expensive to mine .

Where do you send off your samples to, to get the breakdown? And about how much does that cost? My husband has been finding a ton of iron pyrites in large quartz veins and he's extremely interested in getting it tested.

Wow silver is very high grade off the hook and good ain't bad as byproduct very nice if it was only larger vains do you think that's worth the work to get the tonnage out of a small vain

That small of a vein no not worth it. We would need to remove about 15-20 tones of waste rock to get a ton of ore. The reason we would remove some is to see if the vein got any bigger. If it did then it would be worthwhile.

Where do you send your samples in i have alot of rocks like that but way more shiney found them at an old gold mine and smelter..in az its really heavy and i have tons of it...i did acid test and it held for gold and platinum but dont knkw what to do witj it

We don't do much of the mining we try to optioned most of the properties worth mining when we do it's hand extraction for the purpose of a bulk sample. We have a few videos were we are removing ore from a quartz vein in a quarry which we will be sending in to be refined.

In the video the vein looks wider due to staining. Is there any evidence that the host rock has absorbed any mineralization due to fractures or other geologic processes?

Not absorbed but the host rock contains low grade disseminations of pyrite and chalcopyrite. Which by looks alone you can tell would have low grade copper. Really the vein is no more than 3.5cm at the widest part...at least whats exposed.

I have a question I’ve been following your videos for about nine months and in all the prospecting trips I’ve noticed that the various outcrops some of them are located yards or meters from each other; Have you not considered sampling the host rock to see if between the mineralize zones if a larger mine might not work. Another words my dad worked a mineralize zone that was comprised of five mineralize veins over 45 feet and each individual vein by itself was not worth mining but together with large enough machinery they were able to sink a shaft and work those veins as one several thousand feet and make a profit able mine out of it. I ask you to review some of your prospects and look at the areas of mineralization as a hole instead of individual zones and see if the hole area could be blasted, mucked and processed. The cost per ounce of low grade ore is very profitable in Nevada and some of your zones are far more valuable than the low grade ore in Nevada.

Yes, some of them would be worth while to mine together. This would have to be done through a smaller quarry most likley. We generally don't do much actual removal unless is a really good grade or we are doing a bulk sample. Our company doesn't usually focus on the extraction part but mostly the exploration stage work. We option properties after we prospect our own. We are also hired to do exploration programs for individuals or other smaller companies. You are right though some in close proximity could be efficiently mined. We just save that for the companies with more funding then we have, usually the start up costs for opening a mine with equipment, labour and permitting is more then is in our budget unless it's hand removal 😉

In the ore. As I'm pretty sure that's what I'm seeing in some ore samples I have been looking at here.Black and shiny? Where as galena is grey?

Galena is a grey color but can have a very light tinge of bluish or purple. Sphalerite is the primary ore of zinc. When it's found in association with iron it is usually a metallic black. But has a brown streak. It can also be brown, yellow, green. Most common color seen on our properties is more brown. It's also mainly found with pyrites and chalcopyrites but can be other sulphides.

911 Mining & Prospecting yes its in a sulphide rich vein and is metallic black kind of cubic. There is a lot of it in with the other sulphides.I haven't done a streak test. I suppose that would help to tell the tale😉😁 central island ish. I crushed about a 20-30 lb sample through my chain mill to get the gold but wow, what a pain in the ass to wash all the sulphides out for the little amount of gold. I used a gold cube to reduce the cons down but ended up having to pre-rinse it and float the sulphides out as they fouled the cube quickly!

The gold assay on this particular spot was very high hence the reason for the test but I missed the mark and was in a lower grade vein but with the way the sulphides posed a problem I'm not going to re test the higher grade as the sulphides,once powdered and in solution where tuff to work out.😕

Yes all the time we usedd to have a property with a couple small Rhodonite lenses, gemstones, quartz, copper and manganese. We hand mined them out and got about a 1/3 tonne Rhodonite. This was about 5 years back.

Are the lens to which you refer similar in appearance to clam shells. I worked on the Lake Emma remediation project outside Silverton CO, an amazing situation if you care to research, and a huge vein of rhodinite covered a thick quartz vein loaded with gold in the empty former lake.

Depends were your located. ALS Minerals is worldwide but your local area may have an assay office/lab. All sample cost vary from element to multi element, there's different ways to test as well.
