One detail I love is how up till now you think jiren just looks at things and bodies them, but when goku goes ultra instinct you get to see that this whole time jiren was actually just punching things so fast it looked like he was just staring. Also if you noticed jiren had to power up at the end to block gokus punch which he never had to do before.

that's kinda a misconception, while it is true that jiren's glare is actually him punching fast, but there's also an energy based variant where he doesn't punch. for example, when he glared at hit's energy ball while his body was frozen in time and reflected SSBE vegeta's final flash while goku restrained his arms
