The biggest benefit here is you can carry multiple bags with multiple patterns for multiple environments. And be perfect in each. And THAT has always been the greatest limitation of camouflage.

I did not spot him only once when he was almost entirely covered by the rock. However I knew that someone was supposed to be there. For an unaware person he would be very difficult to notice. Interesting camo-system. I wonder how it looks in noctovision.

This product is great, it’s insane how invisible you were at the end and it’s even better that is very compact and easy to carry in you bag. @@plet6461 It is exremely new, if you go onto the page of Concamo, they say that it is "made in germany" and that they decided to cooperate with the Bundeswehr etc. The designer of the Camo was a KSK soldier and his first users were KSK people. It isnt the main Camo but it is already in use

But you were right there and being an animal or not paying attention or expecting sth like that, one could walk right past. When laying on the grass it was basically impossible. What color (green, brown, beige) would you recommend for the Summer alpine environment in Europe?

I would mainly recommend the Brown one. But it also depens on the elevation you are in. But with brown you can cover a lot. But when elevation is low and nature is green, maybe the green will be better. When you are higher up, the beige one can be amazing. In this video I have shown the Green in Gen 1. This is close to the brown one.

So all it is, is a unique cut of thin camo cloth that's IR absorbent? It's not easily modifiable for specific environments and any "sniper" is going to have something more tailored for the mission. It seems like it's very niche and I'm definitely not sold considering the price. How durable is it? Looks like it would tear very easily. Good video though!

The lightweight is great but it's very situational, you cant walk around in thick woods with this stuff because it's so thin as soon as it grabs into a branch its going to rip. You have to get to a position and deploy it while stationary, cant manuver with it. Its a tradeoff between lightweight and durability. Still very nice to have.

As others have said, great looking item and I'd be interested too if the price wasn't so daft. £180 for a poncho (which can't have cost more than £15 to produce) is outrageous and unrealistic. I can find very similar gear on eBay for less than £20.

It’s german Material and high quality infrared print (also made in Germany). These are things of a quality you can not find at Aliexpress. Feel free to share with us the cheaper thing that is similar. I am sure it will not have IR, it will be more heavy, will not be unisize, maybe even not have loops for vegetation and will not camouflage as well. But when you are fine with that, that’s okay. Quality is not affordable for everyone.

Ich habe da Einblick und kann sagen, dass der gerechtfertigt ist. Material und Druck in hoher Qualität aus Deutschland. Mit ordentlichen IR Werten und der Tarneffekt spricht für sich. Aber dennoch sicherlich nicht etwas für Jedermann. Ein günstigeres und weniger vielseitiges Produkt kommt da aber auch bald auf den Markt.

When you look at it with night vision, you still have a pattern and your are not only a pure bright or pure dark spot, that is easy to see.
