Interesting comparison on the two types and costs. The Ghost hood does the job for sure. :) What combat shirt is that? Oh and nice work on the video production and editing too.

I used my ghosthoody yesterday In a wooded environment. Compared to some of the custom, fancy ghillie suits the snipers were using my concealment was equal too and often better than theirs. They were all overheating after a while and looked and moved, not so much clumsily but more heavily. I was able to move naturally and stayed cool all the time. I know €200 may seem a bit expensive for a 'poncho' but if you are serious about your camo then it's a solid investment. I just wish they did a reverseble option so I can use it in more environment.
@ripperkon2 жыл бұрын
Thx. This sounds superb. Problem with this thin fabric is, that I can not be printed different on two sides. The print is only made on one side, but both sides look identical.
@stuartsummerfield44382 жыл бұрын
@@ripperkon yup, I figured. I was thinking that maybe in the future buying the brown hoodie and stitching it to the green. My only worry would really be breathability but it's a small sacrifice to pay the convenience.

Perhaps 🤔 sewing the two together would prevent one from cooling off as effectively, but I suspect it wouldn’t be that bad from how thin it looks

Ghosthood and concamo are something that should had been made 20 years ago; instead of those corny digital camouflage uniforms! When I saw hunters dressed in more complex patterns and with hoodie, I always questioned the validity of military camo choices! Good thing elite operators don't have to conform with the popular standards!
@chagi43342 жыл бұрын
what I have been told when I was back in the military, is that the uniform is mainly there to seperate between friend and foe and camo is not the number 1 priority. Because when you move you are seen easily anyway and when stationary you can use leafs and other stuff to create a way better camo.

i wonder how well the ghost hoodie can handle attached natural vegetation, i feel like a classic leaf jacket can mix natural vegetation better but i might be wrong. Also the ghost hoodie looks so frail... is it still all one piece after a year or more of moderate usage, or it starts to break down? i feel like a thick forest with sharp sticks and rocks on the ground can break this thing easily I would love a video where you use natural vegetation on it(i cant find one) and a stress/strain test to see if it can survive a forest over time

How about brown one side and green on the other so the material would stay thin and be more versatile maybe with an up charge for this version. This idea may be more difficult than it sounds though. The time is coming and maybe here already where soldiers or even civilians may need to hide from ir seaking drone swarms. Hmmm I'm sounding paranode haha, I'm glad I found this video, ok back to the bunker!

@uc5337 Жыл бұрын
Ok first you need at least a size bigger leaf suit to have any type of comparison. Your suite is visibly small and tight on you. Especially pants. This is why it shows vertical shadows between leaves. Get a size bigger suit and you’ll see what I’m talking about. As for night vision, come on. Unless you’re in a war zone what else would you use it for? Hunting?
