A full day spent ultralight fishing a quality stream for some trout, and putting in some work to clean up trash along the bank. The day wasn't quite smooth sailing, but man was it a good one.

The amount of close contacts with animals that day was crazy. It was a bummer, but it was definitely an excellent day. I will have to try matching the hatch with a creek chub lure then, can't believe it never occurred to me that they would be devouring chubs.
