Amazing how many people don't know the laws of the game. Talea unloaded the ball behind him, it hit the ground pass complete. The ball then bounced forward and regathered in the air, that play on, try scored.

Only try in the final was.. not a try. How can that be adjudicated as going backwards? It was 100% knocked on. Unbelievable how it was not reviewed. What’s going on with test rugby tmo adjudication?

Because the pass went behind Talea and hit the ground, pass complete, the ball being a rugby ball bounced forward and regathered in the air, that's play on. Try scored. It was reviewed and replayed for all to see. Maybe you don't know rugby as much as you like to think you do. Obvious by you comment.

it was reviewed the tmo said the try is good the ball went backwards out of the hands. The thing is the law is that the motion of the ball out of the hands must be backwards regardless if the ball drifts forwards afterwards. Like if you are running and throw a flat pass it will probably land forward from where you passed it because of physics. With telea it looks like he is falling forward while passing so although the motion of the hands is backwards the ball does go slightly forward. Also it’s fine if the ball bounces forward after the pass
