I think it's so simple as that Ultra Necrozma is the Ultra Space's god, because Arceus is not supposed to exist there or to reign over all the different life form in ultra space. Necrozma could perfectly be a counterpart to arceus and may be in a different timeline he's the ancient dragon that falled to Unova, falling from a meteor from space...from Ultra Space.

When you go to Kukuis lab post game he mentions how the Z ring is part of necrozmas body and when you're using Z moves you're using part of necrozmas light which is why it is so interested in you

I have a question. Were Solgaleo and Lunala originally part of Necrozma? Maybe the ancestors of Ultra Megalopolis drained light from Necrozma and accidentally created an entirely new being. The light (Solgaleo or Lunala) then escaped through an Ultra wormhole, forcing the ancestors to bind Necrozma in order to keep their source of power. Basically my thought process is the Necrozma we know from SuMo is just the body without its light while Solgaleo/Lunala are embodiments of its light.

My belief is that they're a types of Ultra Beast that are unique in that they're capable of travelling to other dimensions like Necrozma perhaps as a result of Necrozma visiting Solgaleo and Lunala's home world.

I dont think so because ultra necrozma is neceozmas true form and because of the ultra recon squad's ancestors necrozma took on that dark misshapened form we all know. And thanks to a book in the malie city library we learn that after that happened necrozma tried to take alolas light by fusing with solgaleo or lunala (meaning what happened in game happend once before) meaning that solgaleo lunala and necrozma were all seperet beings. Not being like reshiram zekrom and kyurem which were all once one pokemon

I was thinking the same thing. Arceus as the "king" of the gods, Dialga (god of time), Palkia (god of space), Solgaleo (god of the sunne), Lunala (god of the moone), and Necrozma (god of light).

Arceus creates light and creation, Necrozma consumes and destroys it. Necrozma’s name means Death Prism, whilst Arceus means All-High God. Necrozma is the antithesis to Arceus. To understand what Necrozma is, you have to research and understand the Pokemon AZOTH lore. Necrozma is the Pokemon equivalent of the Philosopher’s stone, and represents one of the three essentials in Alchemy. Solgaleo and Lunala represent the other two. Necrozma is more of a false god than anything else. Just look at Ultra Necrozma’s design, it’s neck, hips and head mirror that of the front of Arceus.

I like nougat You can’t really mix game logic and anime logic. Talking game logic Base stats are not everything in a strategy game like pokemon proven by the fact that regigigas is in pu tier. In the game arceus is arguably better or worse than necrozma and I prefer using him even though necrozma is good, but he is not the strongest if we are laking about competitive battling. Anime logic is pretty inconsistent, I’ve seen to many ghost type moves hit normal types to many times in the anime. In the anime it is implied in the hoopa movie that he is the strongest sense he is the only one who was able to slow down the dimensional rift while half the legendaries, including the literal gods of space and time, working together couldn’t do a thing. Also in his own movie he is weak because he doesn’t have all of his plates, but he still able to beat the creation trio easily. That being said only 2 pokemon can be compared to Arceus which are necrozma and mega rayquaza, at least with our current knowledge. Well anyway I still like my time brachiosaurus and shaymin more than the supreme space llama. Also sorry if my grammar isn’t perfect and don’t be afraid to prove me wrong

This really helps with the theory of a legendary heirarchy. Arceus, is obviously at the top, but before Sun and Moon, we all thought Palkia, Dialga and Giratina were right below Arceus, but it turns out that It is most likely Necrozma, then Palkia and Diagla, and right below them, Solgaleo And Lunala. Giratina being lower down due to it's banishment.

I personally believe that Necrozma created life in the ultra-beast dimension, making him the god/creator of the ultra beasts and their home, while Arceus created life in the main pokemon world, making Necrozma and Arceus both gods in their own right. Arceus created Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Uxie, Azlef, Mespirt, and Mew in order to bring balance to the surrounding chaos around him thus creating the pokemon world, the creation trio would shape it, the lake trio would balance it, and mew would give life to it. Necrozma, on the other hand, didn't really have as complex a plan as Arceus making the Ultra -beast dimension vastly different and alien to the pokemon world. because of this different balance and/or stability, their arent as many ultra Beasts as there are pokemon, instead of having hundreds of species with evenly dispersed power there are few species with irregular amounts of power. It's also no secret that if a pokemon has enough power they can traverse through dimensions, Necrozma or some other powerful Ultra-beast must have poked around, thus leading to the events that allowed Z-moves and totem pokemon to come into play.

In my opinion, no human* was alive back in the time when necrozma was in it’s original form so saying that ULTRA necrozma is it’s original form is just a guess. I think “original necrozma” is an evolution of cosmog (analogous to dusk lycanrock... so maybe he looked like a manticore) However as solgaleo/lunalla continually bestow light to our world, necrozma, who lost a part of himself, can no longer continue to do so. *scientists believe that if humans went without sunlight for many years. Their skin would evolve to take on a blue tint. And without sunlight technology would have to advance pretty fast for the survival of our species.

I hope that ho-oh and lugia receives primal reversion in the Let’s Go Johto games. I hope that primal lugia gains the water/dragon typing because it is based on a sea dragon god of the seas namely Ryūjin. So it makes sense for the ancient/primal form of lugia to gained the water/dragon typing. As for primal ho-oh, I hope that it gained the fire/fairy typing because of it’s power to gave life and resurrect the dead just like fairies in mythology and both ho-oh and lugia are polar opposites, their both phoenix and dragon so it makes sense for them to gained their respective typing. As for the legendary beasts, I hope they will receive their original form before they were resurrected by ho-oh.

Now tbh Idk what the hell I think necrozma is but in HG/SS we do see Arceus create another diety of our choosing right before our eyes. Therefore at least for me, Arceus is still the god of the Pokémon world however I believe necrozma is stronger because the Arceus we are capable of having is only an avatar and we are still yet to ever encounter the true Arceus in all its might

I like to think that the lore behind the Sinnoh myths are just exaggerated storytelling like real life religion and should be taken with a grain of salt. The mythos in Gen IV is the worst of all generation in my opinion even if we compare it with Mewtwo's lore in Generation 1. At least gen 1 has themes with science and genetics which made Mewtwo very fitting as its most powerful pokemon. In the end I suppose it's up to each individual to interpret it based on what he/she likes.
