Ultra-Shear added the manufacturing capacity to produce the finest carbide-tipped router bits on the market. This week we're continuing our roll-out with 3/4" diameter, 1/2" shank template pattern bits with cut-lengths of 1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2" and 2". Ultra-Shear carbide-tipped bits feature extra thick, micro-grain carbide and ultra-fine grinding on both the face and bevel. We added a pair of bearings above the cutter, instead of the typical single bearing. Follow a pattern with the bearings for a perfectly matched piece…there's no offset to calculate like you have with template guide bushings. The range of cut-lengths allows you to closely match the thickness of your material. You always want to use the shortest cut length that will cover your material thickness.
