Introduction

Recently, we got a brand-new ultra-slim charger from Baseus. It can support up to 65W output power, but the thickness is only about 16.6mm or 0.66 inches. It's also equipped with a USB-A and a USB-C port for fast charging.
Let's go ahead and take it apart to see how it can be so thin.

Note: The rated power output of this product is 65W, after 15 minutes of continous operation, the single-port output of the Type-C port will automatically lower to 45W, and the output for Type-C+USB ports will be 30W+15W. It's a shame that information is only in the user manual.

Thanks for sharing that piece of information. I had a similar situation with another 65W Charger recently and returned it. I tested it myself and the charging speed went to 45W after only around 10 minutes. Shame, because it was an interesting Charger and from what I know one if not the first third party Charger with Oppos SuperVOOC at 65W. It was from Novoo.

I have this charger and noticed it has very poor efficiency (~84-85%). Do you see any reason for this? The design looks pretty typical to me except for maybe the planar transformer.
