HI Kerry always love your vlog. See that you guys use Salomon shoes. I'm a swed love running trail trying to get to do a real ultra sometime. Back to the shoes, I have tried the Salomon shoes loved that they were watertight but I had problems with that the toebox is too hard and trashing my toes. I had to go back to my Saucony Xodus steel. Do you have any recomendations when choosing a GorTex shoes like the Salomon's? Keep up the good work.
@FullTiltWard3 жыл бұрын
Mike can speak to the Salomon shoes more than I can. I don't use them to run, actually. I like the Altras for trail running - even though the uppers are not very tough/durable. The toebox on the Altras is wide, which helps a lot in my view - especially with the socks with the added thickness of individual glove like toes. I also just give in to getting my feet wet instead of using goretex. In LONG runs, feet will get wet no matter what in rainy conditions. And in short runs, I don't care so much if the feet are wet.
