Another added benefit to the Ultragradient lenses is that they darken dramatically faster than regular changeable lenses. I happen to have a pairof Ultragradient Fantasees sunglasses but a bit different. The frame is a silver color with the Ultragradient lenses but with the BL etched sideways and without the Fantasees logo. From what I read, Ray Ban stopped making the Ultragradient lenses due to the high cost of manufacturing them.

Absolutely spot on. Very high production costs indeed. Tbf something in todays market would do very well. Considering what people are prepared to pay for material items.

No they are Fantasees. Precious Metals have raised Ray-Ban logo on the right lens
