I love my Oura ring but I bought it before the subscription thing started. When it dies, I will NOT buy another one if there is a monthy subscription .

Whenever Samsung gets around to releasing their ring, I will compare their ring to this video and make my decision between the two. I've already eliminated the oura ring due to the subscription. And i really like how you have presented both the ultrahuman and ultrahuman air. So its basically between them and the (eventual) Samsung ring.

I enjoyed your presentation of the Ultrahuman Air ring. For weight lifting I bought some weight lifting gloves to prevent scratches on the ring. Works so far. Clean the ring once in a while with a wet wash rag may alleviate charging issues ? I agree, subscriptions are deal breakers. Subscribing, want to know about the CGM.

I’m so late to this. But I’ve been toying with the idea of getting an oura ring and I KNEW you’d have a video either about it or something similar. And I was right! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! I’m definitely now considering getting an ultrahuman ring air. I’m so proud of you and your editing is INCREDIBLE!! Question. Does it offer anything to help track woman health? I think because I’m currently without my 8sleep and will be for the foreseeable future I miss tracking my sleep, I also hate to wear my watch to bed. So I think that’s what’s really opened my eyes to looking seriously into this ring.

Mine is snug. Sometimes it just doesn’t record my sleep data which is the main reason I got the ring… kinda frustrating.

Thank you so much for this video I'm def going to be purchasing one. I'm torn between an 8 and 9 the 8 is snug but if the ring will be more snug I'm thinking I should go with the 9 instead. Did you go with a different size then the sizing kit?

I wonder what the Ultrahuman policy is on replacement rings when the battery dies (which it eventually will). My Oura Ring 3 battery died recently and I was surprised that Oura sent a replacement even though the ring was out of it's warranty period.

I’m currently arguing with Oura because they’ve replaced my ring (within the warranty period) with a refurbished model, while the warranty policy doesn’t state ANYWHERE that you’ll be given a refurbished model instead of a new one. Within the warranty period, I expected a brand new ring, especially for an initial purchase price so steep.

I like Oura because you can add tags to help you understand what habits can impact your different data points - does ultrahuman have this in any way??

Dang, got my sizing kit and I’m basically between sizes. One fits perfect but it’s a little snug (have to tug to pull it off). So I should go with the next size up?

which one did you end up going with? I'm in the same boat, one fits perfect and snug and the other fits a little loose but will prob fit perfect if the actual ring is snug

@@brja1996 I went with the smaller one, which was fine until summer when the heat caused my fingers to expand more. They sent a replacement due to extreme battery drain issues and they let me change the size, so I got the slightly bigger one and now it’s a tad too loose! Wish they had a half size!!

@@brja1996 the first one started to fit better on my middle finger but I didn’t like wearing it on that one. In hindsight I should’ve just kept that size.

Is it waterproof? Can you shower with it? So what if these rings track and provide sleep patterns. How do I improve my sleep, exercise, fatigue based on the data… does it tell you those notes??

Yes you can shower with it and it’ll give you suggestions for how to improve your sleep, readiness, etc.

I thought you were grandfathered in for no subscription fee if you had the Oura 2.

I, too, will not upgrade with a monthly fee for Oura. As much as I love the ring, the battery barely lasts any more. I have to charge it daily. And if I charge it too early, it doesn't make it through the night any more. I would gladly pay to have a new battery installed. of course, that's not really an option.

Ultrahuman needs a pro GUI designer for their app. Not a big fan even though i like my UH Ring Air. Or at least a customizable GUI. I like to see all the data in one glance and then go into details with a tap of an icon.

With that they might come up with a subscription if there is a demand for betting looking GUI however not as much as what Oura would charge of course.

Yeah, my Oura g2 is starting to go sour for battery, and it's time. But while the Oura is satisfying and effective enough, because of the subscription they can DiaF . I don't care the #reasons, they can still go to hell. And the sublimation from happy proselytist to FOAD mode is 100.0% due to the subscription and only the subscription. And that's too bad. Thanks for the video. I'm almost settled on which subscription-free device I'm moving to after this.
