Since V2 is not coming back it be a great song for the closest thing to V2 that V1 haven't fought, his precursor:swordsmachine original. It makes sense because, well..the yellow arm. The swordsmachine we encountered on the prelude was not the original swordsmachine but a cheap imitation of swordsmachine made by either from self-modified machines or hell itself creating them, because the terminal stated that the original swordsmachine had modified itself beyond recognition, by stealing parts from other machines to improve itself. The swordsmachines we encounter in the prelude and later on both 1-3 and the heresy layer does looks just like swordsmachine, at least what swordsmachine looks like before heavily modifying itself. My HC is that after the fight in 4-4, swordsmachine finds the remains of V2 and then takes what ever parts of V2 that is useful, it's wings, it's armor, and even it's memory chip to learn V2's fighting data and how V2 died. But suddenly V2's memory chip activates and infiltrates swordsmachine's processors like a trojan virus, merging swordsmachine and V2 together. With V2 merged with swordsmachine, a crimson blazing, CPU overheating, metal screeching hatred emerge in swordsmachine programing, it's V2's desire for revenge and it puts swordsmachine into a bloodthirsty rampage with one objective in mind: "kill V1" A perfect way to end V2's story.

God I love imagining this, a true mirror match. It's why I came up with a ""theory"" (basically fanfiction really) about V1 becoming an absolute menace in the genocide that followed the peacetime, and its original creators being in a bunker before getting overrun, using all of their knowledge and experience to hastily prototype V3, the only thing capable of countering V1. And the idea of the yellow arm slots nicely into that. Then we'd meet V3 somewhere in ACT III, having finally hunted us down.

Imagine we get to fight a robot that is the combination of all other robots we met. It has the legs of the centry, one arm is replaced with a streetcleaner flamethrower that has a chainsaw mounted onto it, the other arm being the knuckleblaster we didn't get from v2. The torso, the only thing to distinguish what the original machine was, is that of the swordsmachine. A sentry gun is mounted on it's back. The head is replaced with a mindflayer with each of it's cables connecting to a drone. A beautiful abomination. A combination of all your predecessor's strenghts and the weakness of none. The original. The first. your ultimate trial. *Swordsmachine prime.* Moveset: sentry kick, sentry shot, flamethrower, triple chainsaw slashes, knuckleblaster punch, red and blue hell projectiles, mindflayer beam. Weaknesses: none. Literally a fusion of all the best traits of every machine without their weaknesses (e.g. strrecleaner's back, sentry antenna, mindflayer always trying to keep their body intact). You can counter his kick, chainsaw swings, projectiles and sentry shot with precise parry timing. After he dies you take his arm as per tradition.

Some V2 parts broke down without a chance to be repaired after the pyramid battle, and some just lost in the sands. (There is really small chances that V2 somehow gonna back again, simply because of The Divine Comedy plot. And yet, there is many ways how to bring him back. For instance: V2 was rebuilded by swordsmachine copycat that invaded greed layer. Greedily assembling the robotic parts on the sand, he shoved each suitable part onto the part, eventually putting it back together. With many errors, incomplete, yet "functioning" machine. During a husk fight, some blood got in a V2 fuel tank, after which he "came back to life" )

V2 could turn the blood mechanic against you given it's Clair De Sang (blood). He could either use the environment (in a blood arena) to boil blood and require you to be more agile, Consume your OWN blood by mimicking tour absorbent plates or the best idea The blood in V2 is either dried up or replaced with some corroding substance that damages you when you wanna heal In turn however, you no longer have hard damage.

Let’s fight another v1 knows everything and all just don’t have the v2 arm nor the grapple or we can fight og swordsmachine an much more experienced stronger and advanced swords machine new combos and has the third shotgun variant,(would be tooken from him) he would drop his sword arm which will basically allow you to throw a sword and call it back at the apex of where it reaches or where it falls it would do one of those nuclear air strikes one of those flying demons do if it hit a wall it will do it sideways but doing this takes 1 stamina and won’t recharge for a duration of time. Now for the third variant shotgun both blue and green variant does a little boom boom when cocked or at max charge how about cocking it or charging it would fire multiple balls like the ones Maurice rapid fires it would be parryable of course
