I walked into this having P-Ranked Minos Prime. I thought that I was invincible. Sure, I’d never done *great* at Cyber Grind, but…come on. Nothing could be that bad right? …anyway I still haven’t beaten Sisyphus. (Also, the fact that it’s the Disco Elysium narrator just about made me cry. Volition my beloved.) Also, upon further analysis, the single coolest thing that Hakita could do is make P-3 a fight against Dusk Dude. I mean, it makes sense-same universe, he’s imprisoned in Hell (beneath Pennsylvania, technically, but it’s the same thing, we can’t fight V2 but something that moves and fights like a player with a different arsenal… It 200% won’t happen but it’s still a fun thought.

Your reaction to sisyphus prime reminded me of when I first discovered my love of hard bossfights, and sweaty gaming in general. I was playing the original Megaman on my 2DS and fighting Cutman. It was the first time my heart was racing so fast while playing a game. Beating him was the first time I felt that rush of overcoming a tough boss. a little note about sisyphus and minos, when you fight them neither are fully formed prime souls and VERY far from their full strength with minos just being formed when freed from his prison (this is shown by the orb he shows up out of). but sisyphus had been a prime soul for a while before he was trapped and took a nap, so he does not require the orb minos had because he actually had a while to grow unlike minos.

Sisyphus Prime honestly broke me as a person, 44 minutes of pure and utter Hell. If the preceding parts weren't already painfully manhandling, Sisyphus made me need to take a 2-day break off ULTRAKILL. Hakita, you've done it again.

I tried, but I can't beat p2 without turning on assist and lowering damage taken to 80 instead of 100. I'm good enough to P-Rank the manin levels after hours of tries and to "not-as-stylishly-bully" Gabe 2, and after 4 hours I was able to beat P1, but that final arena with the invincible stalk is my breaking point. 80% damage taken seems to be the point where I can beat it. I'll never be that good, but the fact that someone as mediocre as me got as far as I did without needing the assist mod is enough for me to be proud of myself~

@@Cyn445 I did beat it eventually~ The first wave of the stalker room was my roadblock, specifically the ferryman. I spent about 10 hours purely practicing again him and adding in the other sword machines till I was confident enough to try. And beat that room first try! Then proceeded to get slammed into ground by Keep-Them-Coming man for only 2 hours surprisingly. Though since that day I have been using assist modes in other games, since it showed me pride is fragile and time is valuable~ So I guess I did get there. :D
