Ultralight Aircraft-Hurricane.

Ultralight Aircraft called Hurricane. This plane has a 2 cycle two cylinder Rotax brand engine. Runs on a 2 stroke oil and gasoline mix. Filmed in Spanaway WA.

flew my hurricane through most of the 1980s and early 90s. Fantastic little aerobatic ultralight! Still miss it.

Not too many Hurricane videos...I enjoyed mine very much...it's like a little fighter plane...such a joy to fly..I sold mine to a guy in Tennessee...thanks for sharing the video

I have a phantom x1, currently under restoration, 447 Rotax. are you part of the phantom facebook group? Im sure there is a hurricane group as well on facebook? like to see more videos, I prefer from ground level videos like this but not in portrait format, stick with landscape. when I finish my UL Im going to do narration as well and walk arounds just brings more attention span and flavor to the viewer. good luck with your aircraft. I have a long ways to go as I have some other projects I have to finish first

I am interested in a 2010 hurricane 103 that is for sale.How many hours do you get on a tank of fuel?How many gallons of fuel can a ultralight carry?I am thinking it was 6 ?

In the USA, the legal limit for a CFR 14 Part 103 ultralight is 5 gallons. With a Rotax 447 engine, you're looking at maybe one and a half hours of flight time, depending on how much safety margin you want. (It's a good idea to land with at least half an hour of fuel left, IMHO.)
