For those who don't know, Geed's non fusion form is Belial's Early Style. Why ? Simply because he's created from Belial's ultra DNA, so he has the same form and ability, except the host because Belial never take a human form (all his human form are hosts meaning he possessed them).

Geed's color timer's different, and I believe he lacks the facial-hair esque sculpting (cause he's WAY, WAY younger), but it's identical otherwise. In theory, they can just mod Early Style's suit to give us a Geed Origin/Original of sorts, but I suppose since Riku needs a Riser to assume his Ultra forms anyway, I guess there's never been a situation where he'd get to go basic.

Basically Anakin Skywalker of Ultraman. Both Belial and Anakin fall to the darkness because of their anger,hatred and lust for power. So,basically Father of Ultra is Obi-Wan Kenobi of Ultraman. Both of them being betrayed by their own friend for some reasons. In fact,Anakin was also not accepted as Jedi Master by the Jedi Council while Father of Ultra didn't realize he is taking all the credit from Belial. That is why Anakin and Belial were completely pissed with what happen then. That also make Reiblood,Darth Sidious of Ultraman. Both of them manage to corrupt Anakin and Belial.

I like how early style has very pronounced glove and boot cuts. Post-Showa designs like to hide those as much as possible, so it's pretty cool that Belial, whose SUPPOSED to be one of the older-Gen, deliberately has 'em.

I wouldn't say those two are innocent, though. They were working for Empera, and were told to act as a diversion to draw the main force away from the Land of Light. Not saying what Belial did was right(executing surrendering enemies/POWs is a big no-no), but they aren't exactly blameless, either.

​@@tohandrew7314still an unjustified actions. The 2 enemies truly surrendered in hopes for their lives to be spared even if they end up in prison, so that makes them prisoner of war or POW, in short. Even in real life, killing prisoner of war is an act of war crime and the prosecutor would be judged by international court, known as Hague. So Belial's executing them is definitely a war crime.

​@@tohandrew7314Not just confident, he also took great pride of his strength. On M78 (ultra planet), his power in early style can only be rivaled by Ken (Father). After Ken defeated Empera Seijin (with the help of Holy Sword from Marie, now known as U. Mother) in Ultimate Wars (the first greatest war on M78), the latter was appointed to be the Supreme Commander. This hurts his pride greatly and change his attitude towards others, until the point he can't take it anymore and decide to obtain power from Ultra Spark. Love or hate him, his anger towards Ultras are understanable. He was angry because he's always been compared to Ken and the latter received power to defeat a strong foe, then appointed a great position. His pride, jealousy and anger led to his downfall but deep down, he's still a caring person hurting with so much pain and with constant battle and revival his ultra soul is tired, with no peace in sight. That's what we saw at the final battle of Geed.

6:35 Why Belial was able to possess Zero ? Because since Belial was possessed by Reiblood/Reyblood in 0:35 he's able to have the same ability, this works on his soul too, so even if his body is destroyed, he can't truly die. What happens in final episode of Geed is that not only his body on critical state, Riku/Geed also weakens his soul by touching Belial's real soul for a moment. Thus, truly killing him in the process by putting his destroyed body and soul inside space-time vortex.

Ultraman Belial are legit one most iconic Dark Ultra ever. unlike other ultra his menace was most impactful to ultramen especially Zero and Geed. Also this fucker never stay dead no matter what and always comeback for more menace. Truly a pain in the ass until Ultraman Geed finished his role as villain. Then UGF happen. (Spoiler alert for The Destiny Crossroad) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . In this timeline he haven't fuse with Rayblood however he managed to reclaimed Giga battlenizer. I really wonder what he would goes afterward.

Is just my opinion but I find Belial in UGF to be a quite off in his characterisation. In the movie, he was filled with pride and greed but not cruel, it was Reiblood that turn him evil. In UGF, he was written as an asshole just to contrast Ultraman Ken being all good and humble. And if UGF version of Belial did get possess by Reiblood, it doesn't seem to affect his personality other than just a change of appearance so there is no impact of him turning evil because he is already written as a bad apple from the start.

Here’s an interesting thought I’ve been tinkering with: What If Belial didn’t landed on Earth instead of Reybrand’s territory when he was banished? Would he still become the villain feared across the galaxy we all know, or would he become a far greater hero than Ken ever could? Food for thought, though my idea for the answer to this takes place in the Netflix Ultraman Anime universe (both because it has the most space to accommodate a change to a preexisting character and because I feel like the one thing that series was missing was a full sized proper Ultra)!

ウルトラマンも、すっかり変わったなぁ。現代の子供はこういう物を見て育つのか。オタクしか見ないぞ？ 意味わかるのか？ ろくな子供にならない気もするけどなぁ wwww 2体の怪獣を取り込む？動作が面倒臭いなぁ。 2つのカプセルをセットした物を、わざわざ別のツール（右手に持った赤い奴）で取り込む？って面倒くさいな。 最初から、右手の赤い奴にセットできればいいのに。 番組はなぜこんな面倒な設定にしてるんだ？　別々のツールにして、仕様を豪勢にした玩具を売りたいんだろうなぁ。 バンダイの玩具販売戦略的な意向か。 あ～やだやだ。 こういう「関連玩具を売りたい」という提供メーカーの考えが見え見えな所が、個人的には嫌だな。仕方ないけど、商売だし。
