Wow, I can't believe how tightly planned the plot of the whole show is. I 100% did not expect that one scene from episode 3 has such significance, it's amazing. Retsu also went form seeming like a shady military higherup guy to actually being an absolute badass in the second half of the story. I can't wait to see the resolution of the show and the movie!
I like how Blazar just punched the daylights out of Gento as a way to force him to rest, truly a description to the phrase "Why're you hitting yourself?". But besides that, seems like the Deltandals and Taganulars were just preparing for an attack on 'Visitor 99' that they seem to be so desperate about. I wonder if the final boss has anything related to Firdran's existence.

Oh man, this episode is really great... It shows ways similar to the past Ultra series like animals, Kaiju can detect danger for far away and prepare to protect their home as it was the Earth who commanded them, and it shows Kaiju can react to even greater threats faster than anything else

It's Gaia and Z all over again, but it's done well so that's not a bad thing

@@yanchunchan9321 It's got its own theme and it feels like Tsuburaya understood that Trigger and Decker were definitely some of the lower points of the Reiwas, so they decided to keep the concepts, but shelf the idea of New Generation heroes and create a new Ultra with a blank slate.

@@groadmiralinerika2540 Decker was actually pretty interesting by itself, I felt the overarching plot was well written in general. Trigger tried to milk the Tiga's movie plot over the whole series, which made it felt lost at times. Gaia was my favourite from the TCG and I was slightly disappointed it didn't get the reboot, but man Blazar's great as it is, so I'm not complaning
0:27,18:48 I love this, the inner space is cool but seeing him just summoning his attack without showing Gento putting the stone in every goddamn time is all i want.
0:12 two kaiju deltandal 0:30 giga slash 1:32 kapten too tired 2:12 why hit yourself? 6:06 it'true , because it turns info ultraman blazar 6:24 blazar will know 8:36 what' that kaiju but why is it stuck with a stone 9:12 kaiji taganular again 9:32 this is bigger 13:06 earth garon ready to fight 14:56 time to change 15:22 blazar fly in space 15:56 try eating 17:12 means that time , taganular doesn't want to fight blazar , but shoot it up because there is a dangerous kaiju 19:30 maybe taganular doesn't want anyone to interfere 21:46 becareful , his body is very hot 25:14 earth garon and blazar destroy all missiles 25:52 try to destroy 26:22 did it work? 26:50 blazar didn't have time to escape 27:32 never see this kaiju before
Seven to Dan : You must rest! Listen to me! Blazar to Gento : *punches him to sleep*

How is Seven able to talk to Dan when Seven and Dan are one and the same entity? Seven may be Dan's Ultra form, but Dan is Seven's HUMAN FORM. That's almost the same logic as Leo and Gen communicating with each other, when they're actually a single entity. Or Geed and Riku talking when, again, they are one and the same. Or maybe Orb and Gai talking to each other, when they're actually a single entity. Or 80 and Yamato talking down to each other, when they're in reality the same being. Or Mebius and Mirai working together, when the truth is that Mebius IS Mirai and that Mirai IS Mebius in human form.
1 The way the multiple kaiju's appeared reminds me of Ultraman Z Episode 23 that they sense a very dangerous threat that is coming to earth. 2 The way Taganular fired its beam up to space reminds me of Godzilla Earth fired its atomic breath up to space to get rid of Void Ghidorah. 3 The split up part reminds of Z and King Joe STORAGE CUSTOM to deal with 2 Red Kings. 4 Taganular laser whips are similar to Legion's when facing Gamera.
Definitely looking forward to how SkaRD handles the final monster

This episode was fantastic! As we thought, earth kaijus like Deltandal and Taganular were really trying to protect earth form something, the terrifying third wave! Even two Taganular beams couldn't stop it, this space Kaiju will be a formidable foe for sure. I was really happy to see Chief of Staff Retsu back! The finale draws near, I can't wait!
Some thoughts: A tense episode before the finale, and a great one as well. The tension is really palpable here 0:28 I have mixed feelings about this scene tbh. While it's nice to see how far SKaRD and Blazar have come, seeing my boi Deltandal get taken out like a chump still feels bad, esp when he dies to an attack the first one tanked back in ep 14. Then again, given the circumstances, maybe this one didn't have enough time to grow tougher skin It's nice to see Blazar and Earth Garon become the tag team that Decker and Terraphaser was before Agams betrayed GUTS Select. Say what you will about Decker, but I genuinely liked how Decker was more of an ally than a saviour, so Blazar achieving this status too is really great 2:08 when I saw Gento out cold, I was expecting him to collapse at the end of the episode out of fatigue. I was _not_ expecting Blazar to knock Gento out just to get him to actually rest 5:43 no wonder Blazar did what he had to do, Gento would probably overwork himself before Valaron even showed up 6:41 remember when we all thought Blazar was New Gen Nexus and this guy would be the New Gen Dark Zagi? I'm so glad we were completely wrong and got this pure boi instead 7:00 this guy is definitely a reference to the Perolynga episode from Seven. And I'm calling Valaron "Mitchy-27" from now on 9:57 it's kinda ironic coming from him, the guy who overworked himself back in ep 6. It's good though, it shows the writers remembered his character development. And I refuse to believe they don't know Gento is Blazar by this point 13:08 I appreciate the detail of the traffic cones being blown away as Earth Garon lands 15:13 I remember back in ep 14, someone did the math and found out Deltandal's top speed is way above Mach 9. If this scene is anything to go by, the writers figured that out too and this scene explains how Deltandal did it 16:48 I knew this twist was coming a mile away, but I still screamed when the reveal actually happened. It's just really good cinematography and acting 18:48 gotta admit, this is way cooler than seeing Gento's hands operate the Blazar Brace. But I was not expecting Taganular's arm stump to pull off an attack like that. Is it a Dorako reference, since his right hand was originally a retractable whip instead of a scythe? 24:35 this can't end well 25:40 guess we finally know how Bazanga came to Earth. He probably also came here while holding an asteroid or something? RIP Taganulars, you did well 27:12 Retsu's back! I wonder if we'll finally get to see if Earth Garon's face looks dog-like because he likes dogs -Mitchy-27- Valaron makes his debut, and he looks cool. The two tongues are certainly a nice touch. I can't wait to see what crazy powers he'll have Next week's a recap, featuring the return of Pag, Gedos-kun and Mogusion-chan. At any rate, it'll be fun seeing them again
Gento: Seems being your host is bad for the health. Blazar: ....yeah. Humans are...more fragile than Ultras. Gento: Can't exactly argue with that. Blazar: That's why I need to sleep more. But you're not a good listener. Gento: *sigh* Can't argue against that either.
