Tyranids x Ultramarines is my favorite matchup, always will be. It was my intro to the 40k universe. That said, my favorite moments in the video were the sergeant’s speeches to the recruits, took me back to my time as a (admittedly far less impressive) US marine.

I loved that "contact" tale. I was literally just thinking of writing a sci-fi short story the other day with a kind of similar premise although I wasn't 💯 if I was gunna put it in the 40k universe although now I think I definitely will. Hearing that story just opened up like the whole idea for me in a sense. Ofc I'll credit you with inspiration n such, partially hence this comment. That and was just a very good short story... Also now I'm more excited to paint my Ultramarines felt like I learned a lot more about them n what makes them awesome so thx for that as well.
