I've been working on my self-esteem, and I've definitely made progress, but I realized recently I may not have made as much progress as I originally thought. Hi ... so I'm not a doctor but this is my experience and opinion only.... I have depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts too.. By blocking your emotions, you're not getting rid of them. You're just hiding them inside and letting them accumulate. And for me, what would always happen is that something would trigger me and suddenly all these emotions would come out in a very negative way. I would suggest listening to the mindset subliminal.. I've read the full document and it has Affirmations to heal depression, anxiety and trauma and get rid of negative emotions and memories and traumas... so maybe it might actually help you more if you listen...
