I ordered a dark graflex from them and it’s beautiful. I’d recommend that if u like that style or even the normal graflex.

Awesome dude! I ordered a dark initiate le v5, black and silver with red blade, I'm super excited hence why I'm here looking at videos of other people getting theirs lol. I wish processing/shipping were faster, especially when they claim to be "the fastest in the galaxy" From my receipt email - "Please note: UltraSabers is home to the fastest shipping in the galaxy, and your order will often be processed immediately upon receipt."

Yeah, that was a bit disappointing. Overall, however, I am pretty satisfied with the saber. It's super comfortable to hold. Did you order yours with or without sound? What pommel did you choose? - Rob
@MrHiwaysThinkin4 жыл бұрын
@@GlydalsWorkshop that's good to hear! I also would like to thank you for going through the preset saber sounds, no other videos I have watched have included that. I went with the diamond controller! With regular pommel, no charge port, I also did not opt in for the stand, I plan on getting a box to hold the saber that I've seen on Etsy! Some cool ones on there if you search for light saber box!

Nice! The Diamond Controller sounds so cool. Unfortunately it's a bit out of my budget for now. No problem about the sounds. I've been annoyed with other videos not showing them like you said so I wanted to show them in mine. I personally didn't like the look of the pommel with a complete hole in it, so I went with the Emperor's Hand Pommel (Silver). It added almost no length to the end of the saber. (Though, I might order a different pommel to switch out with this one just to give the end a better shape.) - Rob

@@GlydalsWorkshop yeah it was one of the shorter hilts on their site, one of the reasons I went with it, I didn't want anything too long for my first saber. The diamond was pricey! I'm sure it will be all worth it though! The pommel that is coming on mine says it is vented, so I'm hoping its just some vent holes and not a big opening like some I saw on the site. I guess time will tell!

And if it is, I know for a fact that it is easy to purchase a different pommel from the site. And I know products that aren't sabers ship faster than sabers do. - Rob

Hi, I bought the same thing with basic sound (obsidian board LITE). Will it still be able to have custom sounds?
@GlydalsWorkshop Жыл бұрын
To the best of my knowledge (based on what I remember), you can put custom sounds on it. But, you need to use their custom sound software. It's a bit janky, but it works. Again, my knowledge is a few years old. But that was what I experienced. - Rob

If you wanna know how to turn volume down; if you look at the instructional pdf it says to trigger two clashes in under a second while holding the switch to turn on or off After that the lights go out but the hum stays and you can point the blade up for more volume and down for less and mute

Are you sure that’s for the basic obsidian soundboard? Or is that for One of the more advanced soundboards? Because I’ve tried it, and it doesn’t seem to be working. - Rob

Astro Sleep I was. Star Wars has been apart of my life since I was very young. I’d always loved lightsabers and had had multiple toy sabers made by companies like hasbro. But this was the first saber I’d ever gotten that felt, looked, and sounded like an actual lightsaber. It was an awesome moment. I know there are better sabers out there - sabers with better sound boards, sabers with better LEDs, sabers with better sound boards and better LEDs - but this was my first real step in that direction. I was extremely excited, and still am, to own this saber. - Rob

It’s been a bit since I bought from them, but I’m pretty sure the blade cones with the saber depending on the option you purchase. The best way to find out is to check their site. - Rob

which blade size would you recommend? (im not super tall
@GlydalsWorkshop3 жыл бұрын
There are a few different ways you can see what length is best for you. 1.) General Length Based on Height: The canon length for saber blades is 36 inches from emitter to blade tip. This usually works for most people with average height. (I wouldn’t recommend a longer blade in any case, really). But going off of that, if you are 6 feet tall or taller, go with 36 inches. Between 5 foot 5 inches and 6 feet, either 36 inches or 32 inches will work (it’s up to you). Below 5 foot 5 inches, go with 32 inches. (This is just a basic rule of thumb. Obviously this won’t work for kids or people much shorter. You’d need to think about something shorter than standard lengths if that is the case.) 2.) Actually Measuring: Get a 4 foot long dowel (or broom handle, whatever is that length) and hold it like you would a lightsaber. Let your hand rest at your side with the “blade” pointing down at an angle (in a natural way). Adjust your hand’s position on the “blade” so that the end is not touching the ground. The rough length from the top of your hand to the end of the “blade” is what you can go with. 3.) Spin Measuring Option: Another option is to hold the dowel (or broom handle) in your hand like a lightsaber and spin it like you would a lightsaber. Adjust your hand’s position so the end doesn’t hit the ground with each spin. Measure from the top of your hand to the “blade” tip for the size you should go with. Ultimately, the length is up to you. If you feel nervous about a blade potentially being too long, go with a shorter size. In the end, everyone is different and may need/prefer a different blade size. Besides, if you are getting a basic blade (i.e. one with no electronics inside) you can always cut a little bit off of the end that goes into the saber to shorten it if need be. (Just remember to note the length you end up with for when you order another blade later on.) I hope that helps you find a blade size that works for you! - Rob

@GlydalsWorkshop Жыл бұрын
If you mean the blade, it could be a couple of things. 1.) The blade retention screws could be a bit loose. Try tightening them down some. 2.) The blade could be *slightly* too small for the emitter. You could make up for this with a layer or two of tape around the portion of the blade that goes into the emitter. 3.) If the blade doesn't extend at least an inch into the hilt (preferably more) the blade will be wobbly because there isn't much the hilt can physically hold on to. That is a fault of the hilt and happens frequently with thin-neck sabers. (These sabers are best for display over dueling.) Hope this helps! - Rob

hey question how long did the delivery take?
@GlydalsWorkshop4 жыл бұрын
The saber was delivered 7 weeks after I ordered it. However, I was in contact with the support team throughout the wait. They assured me that the extended wait times were due to complications because of current world situations and because of high sales volumes from the May 4th Sale. I have ordered from them in the past (and again just recently) and can guarantee that they are usually much faster with shipping times. In my previous Ultrasabers review, I ordered a Grab Bag Saber. That saber was ordered on a Saturday and received the following Friday. The LED Module I just received from them took a little under 2 weeks to arrive. So, generally shipping isn't too bad. This saber took a bit of time to get to me, but it's not the worst wait time I've had and I certainly know that the long wait is unusual for them. - Rob
