Awesome! I have a lot of sewing experience, so I figured I'd basically wing it off the pictures I'm looking at, but having a video showing the sewing process is very helpful (I also get the benefit of basically making a wearable mockup. Since I'm fairly busty and I'd like to be able to do a dead sprint in my armour, I'm making a sort of secondary undervest that has the short sleeves, and under the actual flak vest it's pretty structured and laces shut on the sides, to make sure everything sits nice and snug. Since it's a very similar shape to the flak vest, I get to try sewing the ugly version first). If anyone other than me gets annoyed with velcro (I don't like how it loses its hold over time), I recommend sewing in a row or two of heavy duty hooks and eyes or hooks and bars instead (the big, chunky hooks and bars you see in some pants and skirts should work just fine). They'll still be invisible on the outside of the vest unlike lacing, and they won't lose their hold over time or potentially pop loose or get stuck like snaps or zippers might.

It does! The base bow itself is a functional bow (a low weight bow, but still) and the add-ons don't affect that. It's super cool! - Rob

It would 100% be a prop helmet, no safety can really be added sadly. But here in MN you can ride without a helmet (if you want). So it’s up to the rider. Maybe do it for Halloween or an event or something.

Yeah, I just hadn't gotten to weather them at the time of recording. You could wear them as outside work gloves to get a natural weathering over time, or you could use dirt, brown shoe polish, and paint washes to get a quick dirtied look. It all depends on what you think would be better (and how much time you have). - Rob

After cosplaying as a Ghostbuster for nearly a decade, it's time to switch modes and go with my second favorite franchise! I got the Galaxy's Edge tunic, belt and cloak (shoulda sprung the extra $30 for the robe) during my last trip to Disneyland for my and my girlfriend's 20th anniversary. Piecing everything else together now.

I was worried about the same, but they’ve held up great for me so far, even after a full day at a Con. If you’re worried, go a size up. It would fit a bit looser, but the Obi would still fit well. - Rob

great work, dude, amazing look, cool idas to make our own belt, thanks a lot for the sugestions and tips and about the hot chocolate of Luke that is imposible, the movie tell us since the very begining: ".....in a galaxy far, far away....", well, in a "far away" galaxy chocolate does not exist, or at less not with that name, so if Luke like some hot beverage NECESARILY that beverage have another name, can be dark, can be similar to chocolate BUT NEVER NAMED CHOCOLATE, the problem is sometimes producers are half-dumb half-fool so they cant use their brains in a proper way, cheers 😃

How do you find the front pockets of the bag, where you put your phone/pens/etc, for putting other items in below them? Are the openings at the top wide enough to comfortably fit your hand down, or are they not particularly useable...? I'm trying to decide between the modern layout, and the classic.

I like them. If you’re putting something like a phone, pens, wallet, etc. in them, you’ll be fine. It might get a little frustrating putting very tiny things down there, but other than that you should be good. Also, I have one of the authentic bags (so it has the classic layout) and I definitely prefer the modern layout for an everyday carry bag. It has a bit more versatility, in my mind, since you’re not carrying the intended gas mask. Hope that helps! - Rob

To the best of my knowledge (based on what I remember), you can put custom sounds on it. But, you need to use their custom sound software. It's a bit janky, but it works. Again, my knowledge is a few years old. But that was what I experienced. - Rob

If you mean the blade, it could be a couple of things. 1.) The blade retention screws could be a bit loose. Try tightening them down some. 2.) The blade could be *slightly* too small for the emitter. You could make up for this with a layer or two of tape around the portion of the blade that goes into the emitter. 3.) If the blade doesn't extend at least an inch into the hilt (preferably more) the blade will be wobbly because there isn't much the hilt can physically hold on to. That is a fault of the hilt and happens frequently with thin-neck sabers. (These sabers are best for display over dueling.) Hope this helps! - Rob

I got mine a few weeks ago, it fits perfectly but when it's all zipped up if I raise my arms gets a bit tight under the arms and I kinda regret that I didn't went for a 42 size and not a 40 🥲 do you find yours also a bit tight if you zip it all the way up?

Hi, I respond to your video a couple of years back. I just thought I would up date it. I had to replace the bag that I purchased with a replacement bag from Magnoli Clothiers. After it arrived, and looking it over I’m all most sure that the canvas is heavier than my first bag. I just thought I’d pass that along.

It is a pretty heavy canvas. I've had this bag for nearly 3 years now and it still holds up just as well as it did in the beginning. (I've also updated the strap to a leather one from Etsy so that's pretty cool.) - Rob

The thinner strap too a bit of getting used to, but I’ve worn this as a Disney carry pack (water, snacks, charging pack, poncho, etc.) multiple times and have had no problems. It also used to be my daily carry for just regular items. I love it. Again, the thin strap may take some getting used to, but once you do, it’s very comfortable. - Rob
