I’m so grateful for your videos! You’re such a great teacher and I give all thanks to you for helping me pass my first semester of ultrasound! I take the SPI this spring and I’m looking forward to using your videos for review ❤

This is very informative and explained well enough to understand basic concept. Your style of teaching and evaluating by placing questions is highly impressive and helpful to understand. Please post other topic soon. Thank you.

Where are the original videos? Are they still available anywhere

In this video (around the 19min mark), going over which has better axial resolution between 0.2mm and 0.4mm you stated there wasn't enough info. In the workbook there is the same problem with the correct answer of 0.2mm (slide 4 in the unit 10 answers ppt). Which is correct?
@mollybattin9674 Жыл бұрын
I would still go under the assumption that there is not enough information, but if you had to choose one, the 0.2 mm wavelength would be more correct. I added some more information to the workbook to help make that clear distinction.

Hi M I’m directed to study three specific areas. Apply Doppler Concepts, Optimize Sonographic images and Perform Ultrasound Examinations. What chapters would you recommend I study? Thank you.

If axial resolution is inversely related to frequency, then how highest frequency improves axial resolution!!!!
@Sabrina-eg9oo Жыл бұрын
If frequency increases, then axial resolution decreases which is what we want. This means that the machine can detect echoes from reflectors that are a a small distance apart correctly and display them as separate echoes!

Higher frequency = lower numerical values of axial resolution

@@abdovitamins6331 I figured since the question wasn’t recent but added a response for others with the same question… big congrats on passing btw and good luck with the rest of your sonography journey!
