The 7x42 are my favorite all-around binoculars...Unfortunately for me I didn't realize that higher magnification isn't always the best, field of view seems to be my favorite high number now. Also great compact size to power ratio.

I read a lot of bad things about Leica customer service ... how can that be ? No big Swarovski fan here but how do they manage to became famous when it comes to customer service ? Come on Leica !!! This is a serious problem for us customers ...

I chose the Swarovski EL 10 x 50 , it is still more compact and better than the Leica 10 x 50

@@rolf5914 I dont like Swarovski's flat field. I also feel that Ultravid feels better in my hand and the focuswheel are way better on Ultravid.

Leica Binoculars 10x25 ultravids excellent. 8x42 Trinovids HD (no good) sent back. 10x42 ultravids HD excellent. 10x50 ultravids excellent. Hard to beat Leica Colours & Sharpness.
