I thought about doing the same thing with my UV3 i have my fiber ran all the way through the scope with a 4x now I wanna try a 6x or 8

That lens will work much better if you slide the sight out a few more notches. With it that close into the bow you are reducing the magnification of the lens. Also you can run a smaller peep if it’s out half way on the sight bar too. 👍🏻

Great. Just be aware that sliding your sight and scope out a few notches will mean your arrow hits a little lower on the target but it won’t change the sight tape or speed just where you will have to move the pin to. If you shoot 30yards and you hit a few inches low of where you did when you had the sight pulled all the way in just adjust so you are hitting middle again but move the pointer so it’s back on 30. Your sight tape won’t change only your pin will need moving to be set back on 30. 👍🏻

Can someone explain how you fit the lens and hunting cartridge? Just ordered a 4x and Lens Cartridge but would really like to keep my single pin instead of running fibre though the lens

Is the pin bright enough when you are standing in the sun with that scope model. I screwed myself by paying $199? forthe Ultraview original scope. Not bright enough with even the light on standing in the sun. Setting in its box

Center Drill the lens (if not already) and wrap the green fiber around then through the Center Drill - that'll hook you up. I'm gonna try the short green (1/2") with the light Friday and see how that looks. Hope it helps. ps. Humans detect Green Light on bright days the best.

The UV3’s are trash as I can’t see a dot or pin in daylight and went back to a Shrewd. There is a reason not a single pro is using one for 3D.

The all the top pros use other brands such as Axcel, Shrewd, CBE, etc, bc they pay money. UV has its market and it does very well in the new/money conscious archer market. It's an all in one system for the same price as the other major players, which are not an all in one. I feel they all make great products, just pick your poison and the amount of money you wanna pay and shoot!!!

I agree the AV 41 in my opinion is a way better scope and that’s what I’m running on my field set up

@@quantumeraser4833 Yes sir. I had both the target and hunting cartridges. The lighting just sucks as there is no replacement for direct light on a fiber(like a LP light kit)as opposed to trying to hit it with enough light. I sold it on AT.

Try diferent brend,maybe somebody can cut you real good lenses instead of using UW cuz they are low quality.Am werry hapy with Madeye optics,thons of choises and crystal clear!
