When it comes to surfing beaches, no country in southeast asia on par with Indo, not even close. Other than Uluwatu you could find many other beautiful surfing beaches in Indo, likes Selong Belanak & Tanjung Aan of Lombok, Tropical beach of Sumbawa, Tarimbang beach of Sumba, Red island beach of Banyuwangi, Mandiri beach of Krui, Awera beach of Mentawai, Pinang island beach of Banyaks and soo many others. Keep exploring and safe travels.

​@@sunkissedbucketlistYeah, you should try it while in Indo. There are many beginners friendly beach breaks, Halfway Kuta Bali, Selong belanak of Lombok, etc. Just don't do it in Bukit area-Uluwatu yet, it's rather for intermediate-advance surfers,heheh,,or maybe in Dreamland beach.
