I'm going to give this a try based on your review. I'm 52 my skin is normal to dry. I've always enjoyed makeup, I've worn a more minimal look while home with kids and then WFH. Now I'm back in the office and I feel like I don't know how to apply foundation anymore! I have spent hours at Ulta and Sephora trying to color match. Came home with Estee Lauder futurist hydra rescue. I can't get it to go on without it looking cakey and getting dry flaky spots around my nose and mouth. I didn't try the CT brand at the store. I'm going back to get this to try. Thank you! (I found you by searching for reviews of the EL Futurist). Subscribed!

I am 57 years old with combination skin...with some dry patches. I just received mine and am the same shade as you. Totally agree with everything you said about it. I have never been able to use any of her foundations....but this one is the bomb. I've had it on for about an hour....and my skin looks so airbrushed and like you say...its transforming......wow!!! 🤗

Yay Kathryn!! None of her foundations have been “ it” for me so your review was vital for me as I’m trying to jump on the newest and next big thing. Must be the season for foundation launches, seems like there a lot lately. Charlotte tho from what I’ve tried, she just knows how to light 💡 up the complexion and eyes, especially if you have aging concerns. Umm yeah I have a few, lol!

I have this in 4N. I find it to be tackier than the NARS……I don’t reach for this 1 much. Have you tried the Estée Lauder Futurist? That’s a beautiful foundation!

I’m so glad you are showing us this new foundation. I haven’t tried any of her foundations yes, it looks very promising. Your reviews are very good and I’m really enjoying your channel! I agree that CT always adds a “weird ingredient” to be special in some way, to be honest that kinda bugs me. But I intrigued by this most recent foundation. I also appreciate the fact you have all her foundations so I can really get a good idea what this brand offers. Thanks again for a great review.

Thanks for the review, very intrigued by this product. I’m probably the only woman who isn’t a CT worshiper. The price range was always out of my reach but now that she has smaller product sizes in some things it might augment my current makeup collection quite well. The new L’Oréal serum foundation is too glowy/shiny for me. I’m starting to feel like a unicorn.😂 Edit: new subscriber!💖

The new L’Oréal is a little too glowy for me also. The CT is just not that glowy for my normal to dry skin. I think this could be too glowy if you have oily or combination skin. It really is nice.

OK we had a different experience with this foundation. Maybe I need to use less skin care underneath? because it went on kind of thick to me but I had on moisturizer and primer underneath, her magic cream and then my Laura Mercier moisturizing primer, so maybe it was just too much underneath you think?

Hi, I just jumped over to this video. I just subbed to your channel, we have very very similar coloring and are close in age and similar skin type. Now I’m wondering if I need to switch shades again with the other NARS, I have Vienna which Turns a little peach, your she does not turn peach at all? OK let me watch this one now lol

It doesn’t have sunscreen in it which usually causes flashback. I would be surprised if it did but I haven’t had a flash photo taken in the foundation. Congratulations! What an exciting time!

Thanks for the review. How would you compare this to the Lancôme foundation stick. I just got the stick today and really like it but need to moisturize really well first. I was also interested in trying the CT foundation but worried about being too glowy. Just curious how you would contrast the two. Thanks.

I love the Lancôme stick but it is a totally different experience from this one. It is a tad more dry as you would imagine a stick would be. Also the CT foundation blurs your pores like a primer. It is really not that glowy. I thought it would be more glowy than it is.

Yes I do have Luminous Silk. I like it very much but it is very different from this CT foundation. Armani is more glowy and not as blurring.
