Man when I was 8 I met Umaga at the Chicago Air port and he made my dad seem like the toughest guy saying he wouldn't mess with him, out of all the wrestlers I've met through the years I can honestly say he was the best encounter I've had, I still have umaga gear if the archives ever decided they want it.

What made Umaga get to the point of saying that about your dad anyhow? Sorry if I'm buggin, I'm just one of them people that overthinks certain situations and when there's something I'm not sure of it can drive me insane to know the answer which is crazy within itself I know, but here we are wondering what made him start putting your pops over lol
@EweCantHandletheTruth
@EweCantHandletheTruth 7 ай бұрын
@@danielwilson9724it’s probably just his character as a person, knowing the importance of a strong father figure to a child. A few simple words like “I wouldn’t mess with your dad” would make a naive child think “you’re afraid of MY father, I guess I better be on my best behaviour from here on in “. I would imagine his father and friends told him he has certain responsibilities as a public figure and one of those responsibilities is to keep kids on the right path.

The irony that Umaga had to drop the title to Jeff due to a wellness violation 🤣 Very respectful bio of his wrestling life 👍 I miss Umaga so much, he was a literal monster heel and we don’t have enough of those in WWE. I couldn’t take my eyes off Umaga when he was in the ring, he should’ve won the rumble or an elimination chamber or something like that. RIP Edward Fatu

Umaga was the last character and time I really watched wrestling. When he passed, and I remember too that they had no dedication for me, I just quit watching. That and I had to double down commitment to a real career and when I had that locked in, tried to return to viewing, but it wasn't the same. The newer stuff just doesn't do anything for me, other than expanding on the ladies which reminds me more of the good old days with colorful costumes, better gimmicks and more passion. As a whole, WWE just seems to have taken a step back. Thankfully, there are decades of the old content that I can re-watch and enjoy. Thank you for this doc, cheers.

One of the top wrestlers during the ruthless aggression era. He was born to wrestle but people forget that he was so beloved by everyone that he’s ever met. @@IsraelJusticeMillerJr It could be something that came from doing drugs. It could also be that it runs in their family. Yokozuna died from heart problems. He was also severely overweight though.

I didn't know he was part of that family. I suppose it should have been obvious. Fascinating.

Great documentary. I would love to see one of Viscera (Big Daddy V) People rarely talk about him

For anybody even remotely familiar with the occult. The fact that Eddie Fatu (Umaga) passed away the same day that the Usos signed their first WWE contract leads me to believe that he was a sacrifice.

Quite an athlete and was always enjoyable to watch. A believable heel and by all accounts a sweetheart irl. RIP Eddie Fatu.

10:00 - I like how when the narrator introduced John Cena, we couldn't even see him until seconds later. Damn Umaga was such a great character, it's a shame drugs had taken away yet another icon from the wrestling world. Also not only did Ken Anderson had last match with both Eddie Guerrero and Umaga but that both men were also named Eddie. It's not the Anderson Curse, it's the Eddie Curse.
