How much love do I have for Sheikh Shady. I have listened to most of his lectures, and he was my daily companion this Ramadan, as I listened to the stories of all of the Prophets (AS). It is thanks to him that I have become steadfast in my prayers. Such knowledge and brilliant use of voice and style of delivery, that I'm afraid not many Sheikhs can match him in the latter. He leads a very simple life. May Allah grant him and his family Jannat il Firdows, Inshaallah.

To all those who pray and those who started praying including me: Most of us say there is no time for prayer but list all the things we do that take more than 15-20 min and might me bad infront of our Rab. to all those who have gone on first dates which is even illegal we would wish to stay with that person the whole day and if given the chance you would do it the whole week, but we say we dont have time to pray, we back bite for hours but dont have 5-6 min to pray, we watch movies of 1-2hrs but for real we have not time to pray, the sad thing is that all the minutes collected for the 5 prayers cant even make up an hour.

Baher you are 100% right! only God can judge the ones that dont pray and it is not right to kill we should all be leaving judgement upto God not us. As a catholic we are taught to pray for people to change for the better because Jesus taught us that when you pray with faith and follow his path miracles will happen. There is no better way to get to heaven then through Jesus he was perfect and sin free and he teaches us that if you follow his path that is the true narrow path to heaven. God bless!

God is amazing! God does not care about how perfect your position is when u pray, God does not look at how perfect your words are when you pray. What is important is that we all have hearts and God loves prayers coming straight from the heart. God is for everyone for the ill and the non ill! So the most important part of prayer is owning a heart because thats where all our love for God comes from.

Allah (subhana wa ta3la) did this as an example. So that we do not say to ourselves "Puff I pray 5 times a day!!!!! I am so obedient and blah blah blah" If someone tries to make 5 prayers a day look hard or as if they are accomplishing a very hard task and glorify themselves for it, but in fact the right amount would have been 50 so it was meant to be as an example so that we can be grateful that we only have to pray 5.

Yes there are christians converting to islam and religious people becoming athiests and all kinds of converts, however there are thousands of muslims who see jesus in a dream or a vision of jesus straight after they pray and ask God to show them the truth. All I'm saying is that God does not leave us no matter who we are, you need to ask God and speak to him from ur heart and ask him to show u the truth...I love all people from all religions because jesus taught me how to love and I pray for u.

Contd - An analogy is a soldier in a battlefield. If he asked his general if he can shoot & then the general asks a colonel if he can shoot & then the colonel asks his captain whether he can shoot & then the captain asks the president if he can shoot nothing will ultimately happen unless a supreme being who gives permission exists. If the soldier ultimately shoots it means that the supreme being existed. Similarly, if the universe existed, some supreme being gave the permission for it to exist

I am not a scholar, so best you seek advice from scholars, or email Sheikh Shady. But as I see it, Allah looks at your niyah as well. The fact that you always pray at home, and on time, and the fact that you genuinely do not have wudu facilities, and the fact that not being able to pray at work is bothering you, is something that Allah sees, and He knows what is in your heart.

ASAK, plz sisters and brothers the one among you who knows more about praying, could you plz write me whether or not I am responsible for not preforming my pray sometimes at work because: if I need to go WC and my wudu is broken and it is very hard to make another wudu there because of not having sink and that is why I cannot pray, but after coming back to home I pray only farz. So is this a sin? Or is it a good or blame excuse? When I am home, Alhamdulellah I always pray on time. Jazakallah.

One thing I have always wondered about re. this is, that Allah (SWT) obviously knows everything, so He must have known that the Ummah is not capable of fifty Salahs a day. So why did Musa (AS) have to make the recommendation to the Prophet (SAWS) to ask Allah (SWT) to reduce them, and then further again? One theory I have is that if it had remained fifty, then it may have been different in nature to our current Salah, e.g. like Dhikr, as Allah (SWT) knows that humans have to earn a living etc.

Islam follows the way all the Prophets prayed, You can find it in the bible, "And he (Jesus) went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed..." - (Matt 26:39) "And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship..." (Joshua 5:14) "And they (Moses and Aaron) fell upon their faces..." (Num 20:6) "And Abraham fell on his face..." - (Genesis 17:3)

In the name of Allah: No one created the Creator. If we start with saying, who created the big bang?, we can also say who created the creator of the big bang? and further say who created the creator of the creator of the big bang?. If this pattern continues to infinite we get something called infinite regress. If a final creator in that line didn't exist, no big bang further down the line would occur. @beydounislam Bro, please do not defame people without researching. None of them say that Allah has face etc in the human comprehensible way. All they say is that it is mentioned in Quran and Authentic Sunnah and they do not try to delve into what it means (Taweel). I dont know the Quran and ahadith never say if you do bad deeds you are not a muslim, but always emphadize on rituals and hijab etc..but never emphadize amalu salehat as a way to get to paradise. Just do your ritulas and you ll go to paradise even if you are doing bad deeds

This sheikh in his other lecture on Dawah and Empathy, says that we should be mild in inviting the disbelievers to Islam to soften their heart. This is so tricky they soften your heart at first, then when you accept Islam, if you do not pray for three days you are to be executed. Great they tricked you into Islam and now every negligence is to be punished by death what a "great" religion.
