New info! I have the pellet and 9mm version thank you 2A USA! The pellet version has trained all 4 of my teen children and now young adults on safe gun handling practices and marksmanship. This airgun has stood up to @800-1000 pellet Rounds during training snd looks brand new still.

Hello, I have a request, can you please make a new video on the PX4 with any new insights on it, and specially with your newer video format where we can see you reviewing the gun and not just your hands. The newer format is very professional and interactive.

These are basically way good co2 replica pellet shooters. This Beretta PX4 Storm, the ASG CZ P-09 and the Gamo P-85 are quite alike. Apparently all made in Japan by the same manufacturing company. Personally though a CZ P-09 guy myself. Own two of them already. Was kinda funny to see this Beretta also hit the target slightly to the left of the bullseye - just as both of my CZ P-09s when they were new. This Beretta though seem to have a couple of features that's also been seen on a couple of UX Walther replica airpistols. The safety lever type - and the quick-twist buttplate to pierce the co2 cartridge. Never been a huge fan of either of those myself. The quick-twist plate on my Walther CP99 Compact BB pistol eventually gave the cartridge seal a leakage due to too short of a upward movement when the seal gotten plenty of use and apparently a bit flattened - so I replaced the quick-twist knob system with a 12mm hex grub screw to pierce the cartridge with an Allen key instead.. The safety lever is okay and good if having kids around. But I put a small piece of black zip-tie between the sliding button and the lever on my Walther airpistol for it's safety lever to be swithed into fire-mode without having to slide the button first. I do though store safely away all of my airguns behind locked doors so no kids get to them. And whenever my nlw 9yo daughter asks to shoot - it is usually the Sig Sauer MCX rifle instead of any pistols. Did get once to read that some of these Berettas had an issue of dropping out the mag when fired. Something with the magazine locking apparently.. But apparently they did put out a newer edition (or "batch") of these at some point, which seems to have been slightly improved according to their owners. Never been out to buying one of these Berettas myself. Mostly just because my CZ P-09s shoot and functions basically the same. The cartridge piercing system and the safety switch are of course different after the different external look is mentioned. But these are way sweet to shoot. The blowback is good. Damn shame only the airsoft versions got the lock-open after last shot feature.
@kencur96902 жыл бұрын
What do yo mean “when they were new”? Did the issue fix itself or did you do something to correct it? Unfortunately, shooting left seems to be a consistent problem with Umarex, and the lack of adjustable sights to correct for it is frustrating. As for the twist-in mechanism, I actually enjoy the convenience and much prefer it than Allen key systems, so I tend to look for it. Your experience with repeated use is concerning though not at all alarming: I am afraid something like that goes with the territory, and I can see how it happens. I try to be as gentle as possible and go no further than necessary when twisting in a cartridge: that way I can hopefully postpone any issues. Time will tell I guess. Perhaps I’ll use it as an excuse to buy a new one if it fails!
@brorjordas19792 жыл бұрын
@@kencur9690 The outer barrel (on the P-09 at least) is attached with a rail-like system between the main aluminium body blocks. I shimmed the outer barrel to point slightly more right (this same job usually done to Sig Sauer P226 ASPs due to a totally loose outer barrel issue). I think you possibly also can attach a very thin piece of tape onto the inner barrel also to fit it perfectly within the outer - but I can't remember if ai did that also or not. My both P-09s (and my Sig P320 btw) shot about 1-2cm to the left off bullseye at 6 meters as new. Center height, but left - and was annoying as hell..🤣 I do not like adjusting my sight accordingly - so I often solve these issues myself. My main hobby mostly been buying co2 replica airpistols and then tinkering with them as needed. The Beretta PX4 Storm is a very nice pistol, but I have a feeling it would not offer me anything new other than the external looks. I try to buy different kind of builds just because of interest in the mechanics in them. Some seem unnecessary complex - while others, as the UX SA-10 is simplicity itself and works right about as reliably as a baseball bat..🤣
@kencur96902 жыл бұрын
@@brorjordas1979 first of all, allow me to thank you for the very detailed reply. I like shooting my airsoft gun for target practice - getting a real gun is out of the question for now. I wanted to get a feel. Of course, I’d still have to practice with the real thing, though I did shoot at a range before, but these replicas offer an opportunity to reenact at least some of the procedures, especially with regard to safe handling (treating it as a real gun) and clearing maneuvers. That said, I am entirely disappointed by the target shooting element of it, since the inaccuracy seems to be gun based (and in the case of airsoft, most likely BB based as well). So I am wondering, short of manual adjustments to barrel as you suggest, and assuming that pellet guns are at least slightly more accurate, since one is removing the light plastic ammo element, is there a pellet gun which is (a) a good replica - I did find some very good air guns but they are pure air guns, not replicas; (b) uses co2 and with a quick-twist system since I personally prefer that; (c) has considerable force; (d) is either an inherently good shooter or, perhaps more realistically speaking, has at least adjustable iron sights which could b used to correct any discrepancy; (e) uses a magazine and has blowback. It’s a lot of criteria and I haven’t been able to find one yet which satisfies all of them. There’s always one or two items missing. Do you know any which fit this holy grail, given that you are a collector? Thanks again for any thoughts - all are welcome even if you don’t have the perfect answer I am looking for.
@brorjordas19792 жыл бұрын
@@kencur9690 Well, yeah.. Usually when you mention "pellet", then already a couple of things mostly gets off anyone's list. No lock open after last shot - and a realistic magazine. A close to something that you'd might be after is the Umarex' Walther PPQ M2 blowback pellet pistol. It has been on my own wants list ever since I heard of one to come out (2 years gone already?🤔). I've just been lately been into my Sig Virtus PCP, so I've had no hurry to buy the blowback PPQ. Still no lock open after last shot - but has a fullsize magazine - and oughta have a windage adjustable rear sight as UX Walthers has had also before. A short blowback slide on the pistol - and with a good valve system in the magazine to give a decent performance. Apparently the PPQ could have a better slide spring- but I'd probably change that myself either way. One of my favorites, the Sig Sauer X-FIVE ASP has a fully adjustable rear sight, but a stickmagazine. And they have to many given pellet/magazine jamming problems. A simple fix on the magazine - but the trigger pull will be affected. The UX SA-10 is badass. But has no sight adjustments. And the fullsize magazine has rotary magazines that can fall off - so you can't really train magazine changes with it. And the SA-10 is no direct replica of anything. It just reminds me of my favorite Sig Sauer - and a certain special Smith&Wesson (can't remember the model) that also has a bling barrel.
