Check out NOE bushings sizing dies. They probably have what you need as they usually have bushings in .001 increments

Did you have to “clock” your can to have point of impact inline with the muzzle? The only suppressor I have is a Neil Clegg custom for my .308. It does a great job. The end result is the rifle sounds more like a nail gun then something sinister. But I had to shoot and turn the unit until I found where it consistently printed inline with the muzzle. I mark it so it gets installed the same way each time but honestly the accuracy is better with it off then on. It’s still fine for hunting at 50 yards if taking rabbit or larger game. Also the point of impact is different than without it. So you need to check and re-zero when using it. It has its purpose but I’m more into max accuracy then quiet as most my shooting is at the range. But it could really allow you to reach out to 200 yards and your target not have any idea what’s coming. Not gonna spook anything or at least it not gonna know where to run. Not saying 200 yards is an ethical distance to hunt anything other than steel & paper. 😉

This is exactly what I've been looking for, I live in a suburb, we all live around a lake. There is about 400 yards to the house across the lake, I've got about 200-300 yards to safely shoot( we all live uphill from the lake) the biggest problem is noise. I want to buy the 30 cal, but if it sounds like a rifle and I have to take it to a range to shoot, then it's kind of a waste. I would hate to buy the rifle and a suppressor and still not be able to use it at home. It's still difficult to tell from a video, after suppressor, what could you compare it to? Would the neighbor right next door complain?

@erict3728 The .30 cal un suppressed is a lil less noise than a .22 long rifle The Texan. 45 un suppressed is much louder than a .22. The .30 cal un suppressed should be fine.

@@candycoatedrazrbladz thanks for getting back to me. So, the .30 without a suppressor is only slightly less noise than a .22lr. After putting on the suppressor, would you say it's obvious that it's a pellet rifle and not a firearm, or might someone still mistake it as powder-burner?
@candycoatedrazrbladz2 ай бұрын
@erict3728 it's about as loud as a springer pellet gun after suppressed. Sounds nothing like a rifle

@@candycoatedrazrbladz thank you, I have a few of those. That's a great comparison for me. I really appreciate all the info and help

Do you have to get a license for the suppressor like you would a regular firearm?

Just fyi the .308 Texan on steel at 200 yards suppressed. Let me know how the gauntlet behaves with the suppressor please. Thanks. Testing Neil Clague LDC Moderator - Texan 308 at 200 yards kzbin.info/www/bejne/aXjOYoVqmpVpiqM
