Were mostly interested to see if this shot any better (higher on target) than my gen4. Apparently not. They seemingly just managed to get the barrel to point a bit low on this model. A bit annoying imo. Better if shoots a wee bit over your aimpoint rather than low. But, yes - one can live with it..

I really like this pistol although I don’t own it yet. I’m curious as to why in some videos I’ve seen about this particular pistol the slide has the markings of 9x19 and some don’t. Is it because it all depends from which country someone is from or is it a mod kit of some sorts.

Good review, low FPS, why don't Umarex put the 9x19 on the right side of the slide. They do on their Elite Force Airsoft pistols. Nice finish on the gun. Waiting for the G19X coyote tan pistol to come out!

I've been having problems with my Gen 3 lately, its jams 90% at a time. it's almost new. I may need to return to my dealer to have it repaired. Its out of warranty since I bought it 11 months ago. I just used it 3 times and put it in storage.

If I may suggest putting some air oil or maybe silicone spray (if it is safe for the parts) down the barrel. It greatly improved velocity for me in a break barrel pellet rifle.

Travis did a great job. Nice toy version with the BB's. Did the six million dollar man ever use a gun? HAHA! I agree with @Craig Banach Umarex should build a multi shot repeater pellet version in .177 or .22. Good accuracy to 50 feet should be the goal for full training purposes. With these extras a $149 price tag would be totally acceptable. It might even be a good bird feeder pesting pistol if they could get in the 400-500 FPS range.

I have 10 of them for training purposes not that I have any other options here in the UK, but it keeps you're eye in and a great training aid for me being ex service to pass on to them that have no experience in this field, I explain that it as most of the feeling of a 9mm without the power and noise of the real pistol but it gives the combat training of using one and the training of gun control in operation! Yes I feel my country lets me down as we are punished for the act of them that use firearms in a improper way.its a good idea to bye an extra two mags per pistol for a quick change for a simulated combat situation!

I have an umerax glock 17 gen 4 177cal c02 and it didn't come with hop up. Does anyone know were I can find a used or aftermarket hop up set up to add to my gun? Umerax says they don't sell parts and id hafta pay to send my gun in for them to fix it. Id rather do it myself since I already paid for them to send me a complete and working gun and they didn't. BB´s matter alot. the heavier BB´s the straighter you shot and also ofcourse the joule will increase. I would recommend .25g BBs for a pistol. Also you should invest in bio bbs just for the sake of mother earth. And don´t get the cheapest ones.

Does anyone know anything about attachments (extended mag, laser, picitiny rail) on this gun? I looked at Airsoft mags for similar models but I'd need an exact size gun to buy the attachments from. Like will the extended mag work with metal bbs and it's green gas so will that work (will it even fit??)??

Picatinny mounted lasers or other accessories will attach to the pic rail underneath the barrel, but green gas mags won't work with it.

Please can somebody help me, I have recently bought this air pistol from the local air rifle shop here in the uk , upon shooting it I have realised if you load more than 2 bbs into the magazine it causes the bbs to come out of the magazine into the barrel all at once rather than one at a time. Has anybody else experienced this issue ?

Nah but it sounds like your mag´s fucked. Broken lips? Try another mag and see if it feeds correctly. Could also be that the nozzle gets stuck somehow. Check it and make sure it snaps back without resistance.

Pancake Society I fixed the problem by using the bbs that came with the gun as they are ever so slightly thicker so the magazine holds them perfect , I hope this helps I was using Remington BBs however the Umarex ones must be a certain thickness to drive more sales to their BBs

There is two things that put me off this pistol. Very low fps.. and very poor accuracy! Glock 19 gen3 is upto 400fps. And accurate to 10-15 yards.

That's normal, the Glock 17 has a browning tilt-barrel design so the barrel is supposed to move. The real one does the same thing.

Take the inner barrel out and put a layer of black tape under the black spacer at the end of the barrel and put spacer back on. It'll fit snug in the outter barrel and rattle a lot less.

@@DualEnergy i share your opinion. Its okay for a regular green-gas powered gun to be temp. sensitive, but not if it's powered by co2. That just works differently. Even the blowback system releases minimal gas for the kickback action because these glock replicas have relatively light slide which makes them easier to move. So I don't know why it shoots poorly.

@@davidfuller7158 The Sig Sauer M17 ASP might be a good choice if you are out for a blowback pellet replica pistol. My M17 has worked and shot quite well - despite it is a Sig ASP with a belt-fed magazine. Quite accurate on target even from straight outta the box. The Walther CP88 is a sweet non-blowback replica. It though has the partially front-sliding slide for the 8-shot drum magazine and therefore no realistic magazine loading system into the grip. But Icmust say hat I love to shoot my Walther CP88 Competition. Did well even from 11 metres - and I definitely am no match competition target shooter myself..

Justoo you use the Allen tool it’s like a cap you unscrew it with the Allen tool take out the CO2 cartridge put in a new one and you screw the cap back on I’d say keep your hands prepared good so you don’t leak out sometimes I don’t even hear the smallest of leaks

Why is the slide stop cutout so large??? I mean, if you replicate a gun, why not replicate it correctly? I know your answer: "That's because the slide goes back only a little bit, not like with the original gun". Ok, why could not you then do so that the cutout started further away in direction to the right from the point it starts right now? So you could preserve the authentic width of the cutout. Umarex always think wrong. Only very few of their replicas are good. Always something that just MUST be wrong.

Is it just me or when the slide locks back after empty, it stays more forward then the 9mm glock? So in other words the slight locks closer to the front then the real version. Also the slide catch notch in the slide is bigger and more forward then the 9mm counterpart?

Not much you can do to the sights, unfortunately. Just make sure that it isn't your trigger pull, but that's about all you can control.

It’s an accurate pistol. He just can’t shot. And they put it under 300fps to stay under the indoor field limit a lot of indoor fields have. Don’t forget it’s green gas. I’m not sure why he’s getting such low numbers. These guns normally hit 300 to 280fps consistently. I’ve never see them shoot 260 unless they were low on gas. If you want 400fps out of a pistol you’re an idiot lol

Love the look of this Glock 17 Gen 4 but damn the FPS on it is soooooooooooooo disappointing. I mean doesn't even hit the 300 mark if It's cold outside lol ? How ridiculous is that ? The people who design these guns need to figure out a way to bring up the FPS and still have full blow back action along with it. It's gotta look great and perform great too. Shouldn't have to sacrifice performance just so you can see the slide move back and forth when you shoot it. These things would be so much better if they could put out at the very least 400 FPS. Preferably 500 FPS. But I will purchase it anyway just cause it looks like the real deal. If I can find it at a decent price. On Ebay these crazy people selling them want upwards of $200 Dollars. I don't understand why they cost so much at such a low FPS.

i think the main reason it costs so much is the realism and fell of it? maybe not but thats just what came to mind

@@kingleonidas2683 Now that I have one and used it a few times I can say yes it does look and feel real but I've been having issues with it jamming up almost every time I use it. It will shoot off a few rounds and then the trigger jams and the only way to fix it is to release the magazine and turn the gun upside down and shake out the BB's that came loose. It gets old real fast. It's a shame cause it's a good lookin' gun. Just doesn't perform very well. At least mine doesn't.

@@JNC1973 yeah i think it does that for a lot of people, i heard people tried replacing the metal bbs with steel ones and so on, i ordered mine a few days ago so i should get it soon, ive seen people jam it often online, but i'll let you know how it works out when i test it.

@@kingleonidas2683 Yeah I have been using Zinc coated Steel BB's. I'm wondering if I should try the Copper coated. But yeah let me know how yours turns out. I also have a Beretta BB Gun that is very similar to the Glock and so far I have had no problems with jamming on the Beretta.

@@JNC1973 yeah ive had mixed problems with different guns as well, even though i get the right size and all, i have had some cases when i put a smaller sized bb it works out better but i dont know if that allplies to all of them, and some of them get 2 bullets in at one and wont simply slide out the barrel so ive had to use a tool to clear it.
