The accoutrements look the same, and are in the same place as the Seneca Aspen, so the Nova Freedom too. I've got one of those fine Aspens, so I'll review some of your Umarex Origin, Ha. The safety is in the right place, easy to reach and silent if moved slowly. The trigger is Fantastic set at 2 lbs. The side lever is quick, fairly quiet, and easy. Just be sure to move it all the way back, and forward. The nanometer is easy enough to read and is at the right place, as you mentioned. 5: 39, so when heading out hunting, seems best to shoot that first shot.

The rifle is junk.Don't waist your money. It jammed in the video and didn't group well for a pcp.under powered too. Benjamin crosman and Hatsan pcp air rifles are way better options. Umarex just shows and tells what they want you to hear.They skunked their self in this video tho. Benjamin and hatsan are way more accurate and underrated. Just letting you know so you don't waist your money!

I have the Avenger 25 caliber with the same magazine and the first pellet was a flier until I noticed that the first hole didn't open enough to feed the pellet in cousing damage to the Skirt so now I feed the first pellet in from the bottom and that stopped the flier

@@mackhomie6 I understand I like the punch of the 25 but I'm finding out that the pellets are expensive and the heavy ones are harder to keep accurate I was told by Air Venturi technician that because of the length of the pellet when you load it ,,,it get pushed into the barrel to far where the rifling begins so I am staying with the 25 grain to 28 and they are doing good. I ordered the 22 for my daughter because it has the same distance with better pellet options and accuracy with the longer shot but it depends on what you want to do with it. May I recommend that you watch Steve ar AEAC Vlog on KZbin he did a complete review on the 22 with a complete break down of speeds and pellets. I hope that this information helps I'm new to airguns 3 months now but I research on watch as many videos as I can. I will be doing some of my own videos as a newbie and share what I find out cost and anything. Good luck with your choice they both are good airguns

The rifle is worth the price, it works well. All PCP airguns aren't fun to fill with a hand pump but in a situation where you have no power or access to a fill bottle they are great like hunting camp or survival situations.

The rifle alone, bought from Umarex, is $330. With the pump, it is $380, so another $50 for the pump if bought together. But, prices are sometime a bit lower if buying from other sellers, or if catching a sale. For example, i got mine with a pump, a couple of months ago, from Academy Sports, for $329. I feel it is worth those prices.

I bought mine from academy and I have been trying to pump it up but the pump isn't working right. The up stroke isn't all the way up. Pumping is extremely difficult. Any ideas?

Had the same problem with mine. It comes with a little repair kit in the box, as well as the manual. Go in the manual to the section about common pump problems and follow the little pictures about replacing the o rings for “pump won’t rise” or something to that effect. Had the exact same issue on mine, turns out they had like packed the inside of the pump with grease and it had warped the o rings, or at least that’s my best guess. Replaced the three little parts it said to with the kit it came with and it works fine now.

What industry is like airguns? If it didn't cost $700, you're going to take it apart and work on it. And have seal problems. The opposite of many other indudtries; drills, motorcycles, lawn mowers, etc. We're far too easy of a mark. Most of the problems begin at communist red China.

To bad the 100 pump fill isnt even close for the claimed pumps needed to fill the tank. Takes more like 300 to reach 3200 psi on the gauge. and you better expect 30 to 45 min to fill it after you have shot a tank or 2, the amount of heat the pump produces takes about 10 min to clool off again to make another 50 pumps. And there 40 shot claim isnt close either from factory best ive gotten os 32 shots and gauge us in the red again for air.

Just got mine a couple days ago. So far, love it. Doesn't have an air splitter like the gauntlet, correct? Seems like there's a set screw in the base of the shroud as well that's next to impossible to get to without marring the stock a little. Sighted in at 25 yards. Tried some 18ish gr HN crows and the 14ish gr crosman premier HP's. Have some more variety coming to try. The groups with the crosman HP's are tighter so far.

The air Venturi avenger 300$. Regulated. 100 plus shot count in 30fpe. Configuration. Side lever cocking butter smooth. You can get high power hand pump for dirt cheap anymore. I think at this point in the game the air Venturi is the undisputed king of the 300$ price point PCP. Revolution. BUT. at this point nobody has yet come out with a complete pcp kit. Gun scope rings mounts pump pellets. And there are a couple few companies that really should stop pussy footing around and throw their hat in the ring so to speak. Crossman where are you. Are you scared😮. I think you guys are long over due to step up n put out a pcp kit.

The gun is decent but the pump is an absolute piece of trash I'm on my second one they're not even rebuildable for the most part I have a machinist background I have a brother with a tremendous mechanical background he looked at it and just shook his head it was so full of trash it actually stopped up the fill probe it sounds like scratching on a chalkboard I could go on and on it's bad and this is sold as a bundle to entice first time buyers Umarex you've hurt yourself with this one luckily I have another pump that works

Price point is good too.They don't feel heavy on your arm if you have to carry them and both mine come in at under 6lbs with a scope and both shoot Pellet in pellet witout high dollar pellets. Not pellet pickey.you can go to Wal-Mart and buy pellets for either one. I also hunt with my air rifles and either ones in 22cal will take down small pests to wild hogs and medium size deer with vital head shots!

As the air pressure decreases the pellet velocity increases? I was thinking more air pressure would make more velocity... thanks for explaining the valve function, I never knew that the air pressure worked that way, very cool video. Thank you for watching. High pressure valves have a "sweet spot" where they operate at optimum speeds to release just that right amount of air for a particular pellet. Your sweet spot can change depending on different factors such as altitude and pellet weight for example.
