We learn something from every failure. Problem solving is probably my favourite part. Nice job 👍🏼

Hi Rune, the downs and final ups of experimentation. And you got there in the end.

Hi my friend. Yes it took a bit of time and experimentation, but it seems to be a success at last 😃

Hi Rune. Literally just started watching this video and paused to send you this message. Regarding the ejector rod. It unscrews clockwise!! Also, to make it engage in the spring loaded barrel notch, you will have to round the edges slightly on the end of the rod so it pushes past the notch. You will also find that the ejector rod is slightly too short to engage with the notch. You can overcome this with a small spring on the screw-in end or the rod where it goes into the chamber. The spring acts as a spacer. Only needs a couple of mm. I will now press play!

Thanks for the info my friend. I noticed it was a bit short. The rod seems a bit stuck in mine. I might have to use epoxy on the end of the rod to make it work. Not sure 🤔

@@runerebel8441 I’ve done this mod on all three of my m29’s. Didn’t need epoxy just a little spacing. Can be a bit tight to unscrew. I used a pair of grips with a rag to protect rod. Took me a while to realise it’s a reverse thread! Nice to see you used the tape mod. Interesting they never put a spring in yours either. Umarex must be cutting costs. Even more so on my chrome one as they didn’t even include the notch. Surprised they even bothered with the trigger!! 🤣🤣

@@Waxmax I didnt try with a tool. I will try again tomorrow. I have grinded the tip of the rod a bit, so if I can make it long enough it should work . Thanks again for all the info 😃

Shooting pellets trough a non rifled barrel... That's a waste of pellets
@runerebel8441Ай бұрын
It depends on the range. Pellets can give relativly good accuracy when shot from a smoothbore barrel. Energy is also higher with pellets because they weigh more than the steel BBs.
