I remember when I start reading English books. I use to start and keep a dictionary aside so after few pages I get fed up. Then once a teacher told me never keep the dictionary with you. Just keep on reading and reading and after 10 pages you will get to know the story and you will follow it with the whole book. It's been 30 years now and I still have the same habit and I have reads may be 100 English novels. So please start with easy fiction books then you will see how easy it will be. Don't worry about the difficult words. Just leave them.

To make notes you have to read a particular book 5to 7 times,an extensive reading is essential for making notes, and when you read notes then don’t write the summary but write what you understood from the book and topics..

How to read a book: Make a habit of reading- do read every day atleast 5-10 pages(10min) and increase your reading Visit book shopes, websites etc Read what you love( Magazines, plays, newspapers, short books with 100 pages) Under line sentence- make foot notes- write your thoughts on book. Jot down main points of book Write your own thoughts or insights of book e.g In Atomic Habit, how do habit affect life Study Book Introduction 2 times first sentence of intro First sentence of every chapter and last sentence of every chapter, best way to reach the conclusion of book
