Sir, I did a digital marketing course 6 months ago. The institute from which I did this course charged me Rs 45,000. After doing the 6-month course, when I started watching your KZbin channel, I came to know that what they taught was a completely useless digital marketing course. Sir, since I started watching your videos, I have come to know about actual digital marketing. Will I be able to become job ready by watching your videos? Hi Umar, hope you are doing well, my question is, where to see the report of new customer V/S repeat customer data in Facebook and Google to find out CAC report. Because, I when I am selecting the audience segment in Facebook ads manager then along with new and repeat customer, some unknown and unrecognised customer data is showing. How to find out exact data of new and repeat customer and finding out their Cost per result (CPR)/ customer acquisition Cost (CAC). Facing same difficulties in Google also. I want to see first user Vs returning user CAC report. Hope, you will consider my question in upcoming Sunday charcha.

correct me if i am wrong sir, As far as i know for best way to distinguish between new vs repeat customer you will have to collect data like First name lastname/ email/or use country code+ Mobile number, email addresses for people using your website/ app for making purchases. Capturing these during billing in your CRM or the time of login. As once the persistent cookies get expired or removed after closing the browsing session these ads platforms considering the visitor as a new. ( watch sir's video about analytics and different attribution models, first click, last click, linear etc) The report for CAC is going to vary from campaign to campaign and product to product. first you will have to link your google ads account to Google analytics 4. Assuming you have admin controls you should setup Meta pixel as a data source, custom events, conversion events, in GTM. Depending on your assigned default conversion or dynamic conversion value. even if you set everything correctly there is usually some discrepancy between Google ads/Meta ads data in the dashboard and GA4 data but its not dramatically different. if you want to calculate CPR you will have to setup events in GTM and FB using fCLID for the desired custom event. Assuming the conversion events are setup correctly the existing/ new customer data should be visible under report---> life cycle drop down--> acquisition, retention and monetization. FOr the custom events data look into the GA4 explore section there are lots of templates to use. : (in case your still on Universal analytics then some data may be lost due to GDPR non compliance and google has stopped supporting GA3/ UA since march of last year) for the calculation part: Assuming the cost of your product or service is $50 Create an acquisition campaign for a channel (eg. Facebook Ads, $50 / week) Collect data of traffic based on that campaign (eg. 1,000 visits / sessions) Collect data of successful sales based on the campaign (eg. 10 sales) In this scenario: Cost per click is $50 (Campaign spend)/1,000 visits or your CPC = $0.05 Your cost per customer acquisition is $50 (Campaign spend)/10 sales or CPA = $5 Depending on the no. of campaigns you run, you can calculate the average. for repeat customers you can Calculate Life time value, average order value, or shopping cart value etc too.
