I am so impressed with your attention to detail. Your 'old world' dedication and craftmanship, I believe, is becoming a lost art. Most shops just want things that come in to go out again asap. I believe that it would be extremely challenging to get work like this done in Canada. If a shop could not buy replacement parts my guess is that they would not take the job on. You use the word 'humanity' often. A very appropriate word. To me, this is humanity in action. You care about your workmanship in a world where so many care a lot more about the money. Thank you for keeping humanity alive! Blessings to you!

Thank you it means a lot that you can appreciate what I am doing. I do get paid for the work that I do and my customers understand that I work to high standards . This stuff can’t be done down to a price or the car will be compromised and quite frankly ruined. There is a good bit in Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance’ where he talks about quality, it sort of starts of with a guy welding up his chain guard. Well I red it 30 years ago and I sort of try to do my work that way and live my life that way. I like nice things and money is a necessary evil to have them but to be a decent human being is free and it could just save us all !

Well that’s down to Ladislav he knows what I like but he puts it all together. I just do front of camera and make stuff . It has to be something that is happening in the workshop it’s not made up for KZbin. A guy on his channel the other day said “ this is real not reality” and I thought well that’s what we do it’s just what I do in the workshop not some fake made up for TV nonsense.

Very interesting as always. Thank you so much! 👍What are the plans for the silver Dino?

Thank you. The silver Dino coupe was bought new in Florence and driven back to the UK so it’s probably the oldest surviving UK car. Father then son so one family with all history going to auction soon. Not sure where or when the family are still in talks.

I like how the details are really only for someone taking apart the car next time🤣

It’s just how us craftsman do things up to the standards that we expect from others. We would never want our work to be found wanting by the next person who opens it up.
