When this is played live the drummer never plays this beat. I find this really frustrating because is half makes the song. Is it a particularly hard beat to play?

It took me a little while to get it down what wasn't too bad. I'm guessing her drummer doesn't play it exactly like this live because they're playing in stadiums and a lot of those details get lost.

I’m just about playing it but don’t think I could keep it up for the whole song 😕

If you want to be able to play this exact beat for the whole song I'd say just practice it with a metronome at a slower tempo, maybe 70bpm for example. This way you can relax while you're playing it rather than stressing about keeping up the track, once you do this a few times you can probably move the tempo up to 73 then, 78 then 82 etc, after a while you'll be playing through the whole track like it's nothing!
