@@tredici72 good point. Grading companies should add a theft protection feature where they can map the topography of card surfaces and edges to be able to identify cards reported as stolen (a card "fingerprint"). That would actually be of some value.

I checked all the psa 10s being sold on offerup. None of the certs matched. There was one ( from the 5 card pack) that was a 10 but its in California and the cert is blurred out... never understood why people hide cert numbers.

It's just terrible, the things people will do for just a Pokemon card. It's amazing that someone was able to get this in so many different languages, but you really should keep that kind of stuff at home, no matter what the person will give you. If it means something to you, hold on to it. As far as these criminals go, I don't know what they'd do to that collection, God forbid they do anything at all. Why has the Pokemon TCG, something that's supposed to be fun and enjoyable for everyone, turned into a dangerous game about money? People are morons. This is scary for sure. I have been trying to stay more on eBay for my transactions and selling. I also have been considering meeting in front of the police stations to stay safe since people might not be stupid enough to do things like this when they can potentially get caught.
