The taunt when he walks towards the opponent triggers proximity guard. Meaning if you hold back when Akuma is near, his opponent will start blocking. As if they are terrified.

Makes sense, beating someone within an inch of their lives without difficulty would probably seem boring to Akuma. But a fight that pushes Akuma to his utter limits? That’s something he looks for.

Yeah because fighting a opponent that doesn’t lay a single scratch on you makes akuma disappointed because he finds them weak and unworthy. But fighting a opponent that almost takes away your life is what satisfies akuma as he finds them to be very strong.

Two fun facts about two of Akuma's taunts: The taunt where he walks up to you *FORCES YOU TO BLOCK IF YOU HOLD BACK. YOU CANNOT RUN FROM HIM, DEATH IS IMMINENT.* If you hold/mash Down+Taunt when he's about to stand up during his down taunt, he will start eating a rice ball and when he's done, he gains two Zanku Hadokens, Misogi as a new Level 1 Super, and Kongou Kokuretsu Zan as a new Level 2 Super. *SO THIS ENTIRE TIME, YOU WERE FIGHTING A HUNGRY AKUMA, AND HE GROWS STRONGER BY FEASTING ON A RICE BALL.*

If you pause it at 0:32 it looks like a younger but more arrogant akuma on the right is excited to fight an older but wiser version of himself and the old version on the left is almost looking down upon him while giving a "he is on the right path but he still has much to learn" look to his younger self while the young version is giving an almost arrogant "finally a worthy opponent I will show this old man who is boss" look. It's pretty badass and interesting ngl.

Fun fact about Akuma sitting down taunt, if you consume CA then use Akuma's sit down taunt, he actually eats something and refills 1 super bar with each bite till he is at full bar again!

Actually, you don't need to consume CA for this to happen. Also if you let him complete the animation where he eats a ball of rice, he will activate two more supers, Misogi and KKZ, and let you do two air fire balls! The funny thing is that I don't think any opponent will let you complete that taunt hahahaha

@KevinF017 Yeah. You can only access it in training or private match as the moment Akuma sits down and turns his head away after talking, press down and taunt button and Akuma will eat a rice ball.

Richard Epcar didn't fit Akuma at all. A lot of people hate on Dave Mallow's performance for SF4, which I can understand in some cases considering his voice was very chainsmoker-esque, but his performance was significantly stronger than Epcar's purely by his tone & delivery. Maybe if Mallow used the actual tone of his voice more he could be more appreciated. He's still my favourite voice for Akuma thus far, though. Richard sounded more like E.Honda to me.

How do you do the teleportation and 30 hit combo

Teleportation input: Forward or Back, Kick 3 times on Classic. Modern uses all 3 attack buttons Raging Demon (The 30 hit combo): 2 Light standing punches, forward, light kick and hard punch. You can buffer the last 3 actions to perform them at the same time to pull the move off quicker.
