September 5th 2019 (8 days after my birthday), it had been almost 2 months since I moved in to a new apartment with my girlfriend. this was the day she said good bye to me and I was proper heartbroken. It was the same day that I had lost all hope in life and even considered ending my own life. I was smoking a J, drinking cheap alcohol and being proper depressed sitting on the roof of my mates place, this song randomly came up in some Spotify playlist and that's when I discovered Umer Farooq. This man literally changed my life and this track is one of the main reasons I ended up changing myself and discovered who I really was. Umer Farooq sir, idk if you are ever going to see or read this but thank you for making music. Love from the UK.

I have tears in my eyes as I am writing this. I just got over a bad anxiety spur. I was sitting amount friends but no one there felt a friend to me. But about Arijit, he is so great at his art and because of that he gets so many trolls, but that doesn't mean he is being hated by everyone in India, its jist people don't accept that they are in depression or they feel sad, so its just troll everybody hear his songs as much as they do hear others🙄
