Wonderful performance! I was especially listening for Trumpet 2 part. The Los Angeles Symphonic Winds will be performing this next month.

Only a few other bands in America can perform at this level. I love this! I do think there should be mariachi band trumpet auditions for this piece though. Not the player's fault, it's just something this piece requires.

I heard from my band professor that this song is supposed to express the feeling of being on a certain... substance. Now I don't know what that substance IS, but still.

It’s about a guy who walks through a dessert and finds a witch doctor, the substance is what the witch doctor gives him but doesn’t tell him about, just tells him to drink it, the guy drinks it and the music narrates the guy haveing hallucinations and nightmares about things coming to get him and attacking him, pretty interesting I must say my band teacher told us about it today
