An update just improved HDR on the câmera, and fingerprint now works on third-party apps (should be there since the beginning sure, but release bugs are common in many devices). I made my decision already but after watching this video, I decided to buy it whenever I can! This is a true value for money! Will you release a full review of this device? Hey Alex, thanks for all the work you do helping the rest of us decide which devices to buy. I am currently carrying a Cubot King Kong 3 which I bought after seeing your review of it. I am currently evaluating phones to replace my wife's aged iPhone 4, and it's time to move her to Android like me. My only complaint about your reviews lately is that you rarely cover some of the most important criteria to me any more... the complement of sensors, and whether they support NFC payments. I realize these are budget phones which often skimp on sensors, but the Cubot I bought after seeing your review included all the sensors AND NFC, so it is possible to get theses features for under $200 like the King Kong 3. This looks like it might be a worthy phone for my wife, but while I doubt she will ever care if it has NFC payments, lacking key sensors would be a deal breaker. Can you try to at least mention these topics in your reviews again? Thanks again. EDIT: From another of your replies here I deduced that this phone does do NFC payments, but still wondering about what sensors it has.

You didn't answer about the sensors on this phone, does it have a full complement or is it bare-bones? Also, one other quick unrelated question. Do any of the top/middle-tier phones have HDMI out these days, like my 2013 vintage BlackBerry Z10, or do they all rely on casting to utilize big screens? None of my smart streaming devices support casting from Android.

You've seem to missunderstood how this works. Just because there is a thing called global warming does not negate the normal seasons comming and going, they'll still be there but the temp. Variations will change

@@RedskullPro you can find gcam for some devices with Mediatek's like Redmi 6, 6A or Realme 3...Redmi Note 8 Pro's is in progress. I try it (v6.1, dev works on 7.2 now), all cameras and nightsight are ok, video doesn't work yet...nevertheless, I doubt Umigi X gets enough success to have one

@@RedskullPro Thanks for the review. I'm always curious if Umigigi has fixed their camera problems yet. As you stated "or maybe it's just be just me but..." I've had an Umidigi F1 for about 6 months now and they can't seem to get it to focus on multiple objects in the distance. Any kind of scenic view beyond about 5 meters seems to not focus on the multiple objects in the field of view (trees, lakes, mountains in the distance). Consequently the selfie cam seems to work better than the regular camera. That said the battery life is amazing and it is such a pleasure to not have to worry about charging my phone mid day... I'm too cheap to replace it just yet but I sure do long for an OK camera again. Agreed, those pics you took seem to have the same problems as my phone. Too bad. :-(

F1 Play should be more than good enough for now, unless you want Android 10, which it probably won't get. It's basically the same phone except the wide angle lense, 720p Amoled display, and indisplay fingerprint sensor. In my opinion, this phone wasn't needed. Umidigi releasing too many phones.
