When I read the visual novel years ago I thought the Shannon/Kanon ending was lame. Nope. Yasu is an incredibly satisfying character. The magic makes perfect sense as her secrets and her rights as the true heir to know how the game works. And her feelings towards George, Jessica and especially Battler make sense. Her whole motive makes sense.

Oh, what I would've given to see a full novelization showing the potential conversation between Sayo/Shannon and George in 13:30 onwards... We all know Battler discovered the truth behind Shkannontrice, but we really never truly saw whether Jessica and George were capable of doing the same.

11:45 i don'r understand. How can it be possible to lock the chapel from the inside if the chapel's key is with kinzo? I thought that kanon's masterkey can lock chapel's door but according to the Red Truth of Episode 2 *only one key to the chapel exists* and *It is impossible to unlock the lock to the chapel with anything but the chapel's key* .So how this closed room be possible? I can't understand

Simple. When Shannon "dies" and Nanjo fakes the autopsy, the chapel is not locked. Shannon becomes Kanon and leaves through the broken window the adults created. While the adults are follow the chains of "closed rooms", Kanon goes to to unlocked chapel, then locks it from the inside. When adult finally get to the chapel door, it is now actually locked. This creates the illusion it was locked the whole time, when it really was not. Then, in the chapel kanon "dies". After adults leave, Beatrice the witch gets demoted back to persona status, and "possesses" Yasu body, and "Beatrice" leaves by the door the adults unlocked.

When Kanon arrives at the door, it is not locked .Remember what the red you quoted said, it is impossible to unlock the lock to the chapel with anything but the chapel's key. It did not say anything about locking the door. Anyone can lock the door from the inside, and once the adults unlock door, "Beatrice" the persona is free to leave. That is why Nanjo faking Shannon and Kanon's physical death is important, because after that, no one going back to physical check the "bodies".

Umineko has an anime that adapts Episodes 1 to 4 of the Visual Novel that has a total of 8 episodes, while also being complete garbage, Umineko also has a manga that fully covers episodes 1-8 while being a way better adaptation, this chapter is exclusive to the manga of Episode 8 and it's not in the original Visual Novel, now answering your question, "The Creator" is just name-dropped and isn't really an actual character, just a metaphor for Ryukishi07, the creator of Umineko.

Shannon probably was born as a male, we aren't sure, but was mostly raised as a woman, so yes, Shannon, aka Beatrice, aka kanon, is a woman, a she. Any of the magical beings aren't the creator
