This is why I like these sprites. The ones that are meant to look like unhinged actually like it. They're too much or insane at times, but if feels intentionally expensive instead of safe and bland.

I personally prefer the other sprites, but I think the pachinko art style has its charm! There are some characters who look extremely good in it but I've never heard any positive opinions, only hate lol

The gatekeeping about which artstyle you prefer is so bad that I'm not a big part of the community :/ Glad there are people like you around ;) It's just sad that you can't have an opinion. I still consider Umineko the best fiction in existence and I completed it with the pachinko sprites only, so how on earth did this "ruin" my experience with those "objectively worse sprites"? They're drawings fcol 😂😂

​@@m1bl4n I agree, I'm sure every reader has a different experience and that's perfectly normal. Art is very subjective so it makes no sense to bash one particular style. I think it's incredibly ironic how a series like Umineko that encourages its characters and readers to look for the truth while acknowledging that multiple truths can exist (and should be respected) has such a toxic, elitist fanbase 😅

And actually pretty well animated Beato vs Vergilia fight. Also no random russian words during Siesta sisters attacks It was super stupid and fun in the anime as the words were random like Good day, be safe, etc etc etc without any meaning to the story or setting Animation in these is pretty bad, but then again, not like drawings in original game were better, so nothing to bitch about tbh And what else to expect of a pachinko, really

The only thing I hate about pachinko machines is when series I liked years ago only get a pachinko game or theirs legit good music for a game series and it’s pachinko exclusive. I can’t legally buy it. I have encountered this dilemma before with bayonetta. Whoever uploaded the pachinko music is a mad lad.
