The scent alone is a no-no for me. Normally dry skin is very irritable so I don't understand why put scent in a foundation FOR dry skin, that plus my rosasea is a formula for disaster.

Dude, same dry skin and the rosasea. Mine is around my nose. Scented formulas for me sting and stink. I have such a problem with smells in foundations and even lotions that they give me a migraine like headache.

jennifer Beagle tbh, I use Fenty's foundation with some oil or thick primer and a lot of dewy setting spray but I don't have texture so it's ok because the only thing to cover is redness. I'm yet to find a dewy foundation that doesn't irritate my skin AND comes in my shade (Taylor always recomends CYO but I can't buy it bc I'm not from the US 🤧).

I tried this and after 2 layers i had medium coverage. Its nice on my dry skin but im tired of companies saying full coverage especially when you spend over 30 dollars for a bottle expecting full coverage and you Dont get it..my number 1 fav is still the catrice hd liquid, full coverage in 1 layer great on dry skin and like 12 bucks. 😉

Kimmmychurry when I had oily skin Dermacol sat really well on my skin, but my skin transitioned into a super dry flaky texture and now it looks patchy. 😭 hopefully it looks better on other dry skin!

I had the exact same results! I was so excited and then so so so disappointed. Shade range sucks, triggered my migraines, broke me out. Awful product. Also, thank you for being real & being you always!!! I can trust you with absolute certainty. I also work for a domestic & sexual violence agency and I love all you do for survivors. I have VERY dry skin, and I really like how the foundation sits! I do powder it down after it sets, and then I add my blush, etc... It stays all day for me, but I can absolutely see how this won't work for everyone. But I like it! Very easy to apply for a natural look :)

So, I’ve apparently been denying my pale skin and I found this out today. I assumed I was a shade or two darker than you simply because I pull slightly more yellow than your skin tone (still quite neutral). But I finally tried CYO Lifeproof in 101 today for the first time. Pretty spot on shade match... I genuinely had no idea we were the same shade... but I guess that makes it easy because now I’ll just purchase whatever shade works for you!! Mix Peach Perfect with CYO LifeProof!! It tones down the orange and makes it sit so beautifully on dry/combo skin. I apply it with my fingers and it looks fresh and smooth!

Yeah that's what I do too. I apply with fingers, blend with sponge, and usually put my concealer on first. Otherwise I have the same problems she's having in this video (minus the burning and scent). 🤷🏻‍♀️

I just got the Dew You foundation this week and I do really like it. I have used it everyday since I bought it. It gives me a little more coverage then it looks like you got but it is definitely no where near full coverage on me. But I'm also not a full coverage girl so I'm loving it. Just bought this yesterday, tried it on yesterday, and wore it to work today. I have pretty oily skin, prone to break outs, and sensitive skin...I have literally never bought the perfect shade of foundation so the limited selection wasn't a big deal. However, after working 8 hours, my skin/foundation actually still looked pretty good. Less patchy and oily than usual, which is odd because this foundation would be horrible for my skin type but the watermelon smell sold me, heck yes I want my face to smell like a jollyrancher! So far after day 1 I am pretty happy with it. Not full coverage, which I like because I don't want to cake my face, just kinda even it all out.

Yes im light and very neutral, don't do pink or yellow. The best match ive actually ever had is good old Maybelline fitme in 120 weirdly. But i like the too faced born this way in vanilla too.

The mom in me is saying "No Taylor, don't do it!! Take it off. It's not worth having a break out!!" I hope your skin is ok. I have an unusually strong sense of smell. My husband said I should work in the perfume or wine industry 😯 I especially hate rose scented products (many are made in France). I actually love this foundation. I haven’t found any foundation for my very light extremely dry skin that is completely full coverage and I’ve tried EVERYTHING. once I apply this even with one layer (sometimes I apply two) and powder it, it has decent coverage. It makes my skin look healthy and natural while giving me the same coverage as the most “ full coverage” foundations without the Caky/dry look.

I have to say i have never found a too faced foundation that i have liked. I have pretty much the exact same skin tone as you and let me tell you the struggle is real! I would LOVE for you to review the fenty foundation again now that you have dry skin and get it in the shade 150.

Dude I was so excited for this foundation that I bought it at midnight when it launched. It went on me beautiful at first, the rest of my makeup blended well on top! But about a hour later it started separating and getting patchy and creased where I don’t even usually get creasing! At first I thought that maybe I had just put too much on, so I tried it again with a lighter hand and still had the same problems. So sad about it honestly :( You never see full coverage foundation for dry skin :(

Peach Perfect Comfort Matte was my favourite for oily skin! I am on Accutane now, and have been using it mixed with Physician Formula Healthy Foundation for more moisture and the two together gives a gorgeous natural glow that stays great for 12 hours. I highly recommend trying that combo to continue using the Peach Perfect now that you're dry. 👌

But adding it in to drug store options, so strange. I honestly can’t even wear drug store foundation, idk what’s in them. I have the most sensitive skin on earth. 🙄 Even super high end foundations smell like old lady perfume I don’t get it. Yes scent makes me nauseous, gives me a headache, burns my skin, I will be red as a cherry and makes me break out. It will take weeks to calm down after. Even just a small amount of fragrance. Every new foundation that comes out I’ll look up the ingredients and be like nope, can’t do it. 😩 The struggle.

stacey chance L’Oréal Paris had chocolate scented liquid lipsticks and peach scented eyeshadow pallette, NYX came out with lipglosses that smell like chocolate mint, and Covergirl released a peach scented collection. The smell was so gross!! We’re all becoming sensitive to the chemicals used to make up the scents because we’re constantly being exposed to them. If brands could stop adding so much crap to their products, and create products that actually work the way they’re supposed to, we would all be so happy.

Missy Maria wow that’s so many brands. Even if I could handle it, they sounds so disgusting. Like how do you wear all of those scents at the same time.😂 IKR it’s such an irritant for the skin and more people seem to be in to skin care these days and are finding this stuff out. You are so right about synthetic fragrance and unnecessary chemicals. I hope it doesn’t go over well, but maybe really young people might like it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m 40, so no way. 😂

I don’t understand the need for fragrance in a foundation. Considering how sensitive the face can be compared to the rest of your body, it’s just seems like a bad idea and absolutely unnecessary.

Found this at tjmaxx for $11. I love it. The scent is light and fresh smelling to me and it's so moist especially with a damp sponge. Perfect coverage for me..I don't want to feel like makeup caked on my face.
