bx is not recognized enough for his versatility as an artist he molds himself perfectly into every song as you mentioned he could’ve had a more intense verse but he really understands the tone and style of each song and it really shows throughout their bsides he’s an excellent artist who’s so underrated as a rapper and vocalist

the album is short but it is SO. GOOD. honestly might even love some of the bsides more than 458, but regardless CIX ALWAYS have insane production throughout every single song on their albums so I don't think you'll be disappointed ^^

Thank you for pointing out Hyunsuk’s husky voice! People tend to concentrate on the main vocals of Jinyoung and Seunghun but I looove how recognisable his vocals are!

I'm not super familiar with all their storyline stuff, but I know that their storyline is based on Dante's Divine Comedy! Jungle was specifically set during Inferno, and this was set during Purgatory (I'm pretty sure that Wave was the crossing from hell into purgatory). Like I'm a bit of a Dante nerd so everytime I watch their more storyline heavy mvs I'm just getting excited over all the symbolism that calls back to Dante lol. Like in this mv, there's the shot of a woman with angel wings briefly who I'm pretty sure is supposed to be Beatrice (Dante's irl muse who in the story is the one who sent him on his journey through hell, purgatory, and heaven), and at the end it looks like they're either at the foot of Mount Purgatory or have gotten to the top to the Earthly Paradise (it's a little unclear in some of the visuals tbh). Anyways I love their storyline because it lets me be a literature nerd lol

It was really sad during the Treasure Box competition how Seunghun and BX both got overlooked and not selected. They were in YG seeming like for years without looking like they would ever debut. Then they changed companies to C9 and they finally were recognized for the great talents they are! Thank you for loving them and this great group, CIX!
