Personally think that Numb is their best title track in terms of storytelling and songwriting. The way the song progressively sounds darker and darker as it goes and the lyrics just match up so well. It's like a musical depiction of a student slowly succumbing to the weight of expectations and pressure. It's just so brilliantly written with a VERY strong message to deliver.

A lot of people (including myself) thought the melody of What You Wanted reminded them of The Eve by EXO. Also, there's a tendency that EXO-Ls gravitate towards CIX since their songs are almost similar sonically as CIX has producers that worked on EXO songs before. This one is my personal opinion but I find that they also have the same vocal tone as some of the EXO members; Seunghun and Baekhyun, Jinyoung and D.O, and BX and Chanyeol.

I can objectively and with total confidence say that cix has the most perfect discography in the whole of kpop, melodies, lyrics, vocals, rap, all their songs are so unique and good, no one comes close. And I still don't get why they are so underrated, like people complain that all bgs sound the same but cix is right here.

If I’m not mistaken Bae Jinyoung choreographed the dance break for Numb as well as Movie Star so on top of amazing vocals, raps and visuals they are incredible dancers as well and yet are still super underrated I will never understand

I just saw them in concert yesterday 😭 I’m still in my merch hoodie and everything. This was my second time seeing them live and let me tell you… they are one of the best live performances I’ve ever seen. Their auras on stage is amazing, their discography is flawless, and they love their fixes. I love them so much and they deserve so much more love !! I hope you enjoy the concert, Caitlin!!❤

You'll know what i mean at the concert >< They started off so explosively Ooffph there's so much I want to say but I can't fit it all in here. You are going to have a blast at the concert!! Yonghee is soo adorable, BX is so friendly, Seunghun... is a problem- an unexpected one a that; for me at least. Jinyoung has such stage charisma. Hyunsuk is soo bold and shy/cute at the same time- it blows my mind. Their dancing is flawless, ALL of them move so smoothly.

Cix got such beautiful bsides and I love all their voice a whole lot! Especially they got a phenomenal song called Rebel and that was pretty much the song that got me into CIX. I wish they were performing this for their tour!!

I went and saw their first tour in Dallas and it was truly one of the best shows I’ve been too. May or may not have lied to skip a final exam to go home a day early to see the concert but hey you only live once. They were amazing live and performed with full energy. Sucks I can’t see them for their second tour but it’s gonna be so much fun for everyone who’s gone and who hasn’t yet.

oh your mind is gonna be BLOWN, I already love their entire discography regardless, but to this day they are my favorite concert I've seen since moving to Korea two years ago. my other favorite one is NCT 127 so they're in good company and I'm glad your friend convinced you! 😉 ngl I haven't even started the main part of the video but I'm already excited just seeing the video lineup (Numb is one of my FAV title tracks, and these are some of my fav bsides even though it's very hard for me to choose/rank) so this is an "edit later" comment lol a lil Numb fun fact/TMI: there are clips of them singing that funky Numb intro after opening a soda can hahaha 😂😂😂 I think my expression was the exact same when experiencing that Numb chorus drop for the first time, like I was FLOORED by the specific funky electronic sound and initially I didn't know in which way, good or bad lmao but luckily shortly after my brain decided VERY GOOD and I've never looked back since! so "weird" and funky sounding in the best way IMO Seunghun (pronounced "Seung-hoon", with the mint hair in Numb) is one of your "problems", which is very understandable, he's my bias lol and all I will say is - good luck during his stage on the tour! they've changed them for every tour as far as I've heard but he's something else during those I'm telling you. and he IS the main vocalist! the second you said "I don't even want to think about the choreo to this song [What You Wanted]" I literally started laughing because I had thinking "just wait until you experience the choreo", and I keep saying it but I mean it - good luck! 😜 also, during their first Seoul concert last year that I was lucky enough to go to, BX's solo was actually one of his own songs he produced! INCREDIBLE, honestly, I do love them changing their solo sets but do wish everyone could experience that one, it's one of my favorites they've ever done and he just needs to show off more of his solo stuff in general it's wonderful their production quality overall just truly has been off the charts since they debuted though, I have a feeling if you like all these you might LOVE their first full album, though I know you have a lot on your plate so whenever it happens it'll happen! piece by piece or all at once it's amazing either way. I'm SO excited for part 2!

Ooooh girl, I saw them in concert when they came to Dallas the first time around and you could tell how nervous they were, not to mention exhausted, but still managed to put on such a great show in what I thought was a pretty small venue. For this part 2 of their tour I saw they’ll be in Fort Worth this time at a MUCH bigger venue, so I’m sure they’re gonna just absolutely kill it-they’ll have room now! Also, Bae Jinyoung is way too handsome in person to be as flirty as he is onstage. It’s very unfair. But it was YONGHEE who ended up leaving me hopelessly bias-wrecked. Obviously storylines are so confusing so I won't delve too much into it, but one thing to know is that it is really SAD. Maybe waay in the future if you can handle it (bc there are triggers) there's a series of videos that lead up to 'Numb' that kind of explain the lyrics and give an excellent commentary into the faulty education system (in Korea especially). All you really need to know about their actual storyline though is that it's based off of Dante's Divine Comedy (the rings of hell, Inferno, Purgatorio, Paradiso, etc). CIX is such a fun group from a literary perspective, but it can be quite hefty so you don't really need to worry about storyline other than 'sad kids go to hell'

So in terms of the “Get it popping. Keep it coming” part of “What You Wanted”, it is never specified live who exactly is singing that part as BX is in the center for that part but it’s cause he just finished his rap and not cause he’s actually singing along to it. I particularly think the voice sounds more like Seunghun but it’s never been confirmed so for years, I’ve been stuck with this mystery 🥲
