Official Review: Force3 Defender Umpire Mask

I bought the silver and black, but the protection it has is truly second to none! My first game back after 30 years of being away from the game, I took one off the mask and I barely felt it! I also wear glasses, and for the mask barely moving and my glasses not moving whatsoever, I knew I made the perfect choice! So maybe it’s a touch heavier than the others out there. Big deal. The protection you get is better than anything else out there. I’ve said this on other reviews here, and I’ll say it again…Why compromise your health and safety by buying something cheaper that doesn’t come close to the protection that Force 3 masks provide.

Yes. But only about a ounce or two from the v2

I really would like to own one of these. But I simply HATE leather pads. And seems like Force3 is dying on the hill of not making a non leather pad. So I will die on the hill of not owning one until then.

I'd like to second this comment. Most days are way to hot for leather - force 3 being part owned by catchers should at least have the option for replacement in my opinion...
