Umpqua Hot Springs & Toketee Falls in 4K

Umpqua Hot Springs and Toketee Falls can easily both be visited in the same day. So thats what I did.
In this video we take a winter hike to see them both!
Did you know there are 37 natural hot springs in Oregon?? Oh heck yea!
They are a beautiful part of the Oregon's identity!
And most of these hot springs are located on BLM land or National Forests and are free to visit.
📍Umpqua Hot springs Oregon
Beautiful Oregon Hot Springs located along the North Umpqua Trail, that overlook the river and forest.
☀️ Spring & Summer from the trailhead 0.8 miles + 305 vertical feet
❄️ Winter season the gate is closed so you have to hike in for a out & back trip of 4 miles
😍 At least half a dozen geothermal pools to soak in. The top ones are the warmest at 100+ degrees and get cooler as the water trickles to the lower ones.
Just two miles up the road...
Easy to access & one of the famous waterfalls of Oregon.
📍Toketee Falls is a gorgeous 113 foot waterfall, that cascades over columnar basalt cliffs into a waving blue pool.
✨ The North Umpqua river carved a gorge out of volcanic lava flow, resulting in one of the most beautiful waterfalls the PNW has to show.
Easy to reach and an absolute must stop and see if you're in the area!
🗺️ 0.9 miles + 167 vertical feet doable for most
🐕 Pups are welcome just keep 'em on a leash and don't forget to clean up
⁉️ Please remember to Leave Not Trace!
And don't bring soaps, chemicals or glass into the hot springs. Keep them clean for everyone.

Wow, thanks for this awesome tour! :) Do you know how busy Umpqua Hot Springs can get in the summer time and how much parking is between the camp ground and the trailhead? :)

It can get VERY busy in the summer so I suggest going as early as you can. Parking requires a Northwest forest pass. The campground is several miles away up the road so you will want to drive up to the hot springs trailhead. Happy Wandering!
